Used to be good, but now this path clearing "long lasting" weedkiller is hopeless. Burns the leaves, but the weeds soon return.
For paths or gravel it should contain glysophate, but this fails miserably. After all, who wants the reappearance of greenery on their paths?

I don’t like the idea of using weedkillers that contain carcinogencic glyphosphate, so I did a bit of research. I eventually found Neudorff products that are environmentally friendly, much to my relief.

At first I had some difficulty finding any stockists with stock, the website info was in need of updating. I did raise this with Neudorff and they very kindly sent me a ready-to-use sample to try, and very effective it is too. It seems to work in a systemic way, the weeds soon die and they don't come back in a hurry.

I have also bought the concentrate and a suitable dispenser, though I’ve still to try those.

We all get things wrong, the test is what we do about it, and so I’m giving Neudorff five stars for making great products and dealing so effectively with the problem I encountered. I hope that their excellent products will become much more readily available.

I have now used the concentrate, diluted in a sprayer, and I continue to be impressed. Dandelions I could only slow down with a strimmer seemed to perish on a first application. Some bigger weeds with large leaves needed a second application, but it may be that I didn't soak every leaf enough the first time round. Overall though this is a very fast and efficient way to control weeds, it now saves me a lot of time. I'm impressed.
