Warning: Avoid Near East University and Northern Cyprus at All Costs

I'm writing this review as a warning to potential students and parents: stay away from Near East University (NEU) and Northern Cyprus. My experience with NEU has been a nightmare, filled with deceit, poor customer service, and blatant exploitation.

After paying my tuition fees, I applied for a student visa through the Turkish embassy. To my surprise, my application was rejected without any explanation, only a vague request to reapply after six months. This raised red flags, and I began to suspect a sinister motive.

Upon further investigation, I discovered that NEU charges exorbitant administrative fees, far exceeding reasonable costs. When I requested a refund, I faced unnecessary delays and excuses. It became clear that NEU was more interested in keeping my money than providing a legitimate education.

The lack of transparency and communication from NEU's administration is appalling. They seem to be in cahoots with the Turkish embassy, orchestrating a system designed to cheat unsuspecting students. The visa rejection without explanation, followed by the suggestion to reapply after six months, reeks of a money-making scheme.

I strongly advise against engaging with Near East University or any institution in Northern Cyprus or Turkey. These entities prioritize profits over people, exploiting vulnerable students and families.

*Red Flags:
- Unexplained visa rejections
- Excessive administrative fees
- Poor customer service
- Unnecessary delays in refunds
- Lack of transparency

Avoid:
- Near East University
- Northern Cyprus
- Turkey

Protect yourself and your loved ones. Research thoroughly, and choose reputable institutions that prioritize education over exploitation.

Beware: Near East University's Deceptive Practices - Visa Rejection & Unrefundable Fees

I'm writing to warn others about Near East University's (NEU) exploitative tactics. Despite fulfilling all visa requirements, the Turkish Embassy rejected my application without explanation. NEU then refused to refund my full tuition fee, deducting over €1,000.

NEU's actions seem intentional, targeting vulnerable international students. I suspect I'm not the only victim. Their lack of transparency and communication is alarming.

Prospective students, beware! Research thoroughly and consider alternative institutions with transparent policies.

Avoid Near East University's deceptive practices.

Beware of Near East University's Deceptive Practices - AVOID THEM!

I'm writing this review to warn fellow international students about the appalling experience I had with Near East University (NEU) in Cyprus.

After accepting my admission, I paid two years full amount of tuition tuition fees for master program. However, Turkey embassy and NEU collaborated and rejected my visa application without providing any valid reason. The worst part? They then asked me to reapply after 6 months! Each visa application and other expenses included cost close to €1000

When I requested a refund of my deposit, NEU shamelessly deducted an outrageous €1,120, citing "administrative fees." We all know that admin fee are way less than that across the world. This is unacceptable and feels like blatant cheating.

It's clear that NEU is exploiting foreign students, taking advantage of our vulnerability. The Republic of Turkey's involvement in this scheme is equally disturbing.

They would eventually delayed your refund if they ever planned to refund whatever is left after making you wait for over 2 months for refund that you requested since July 2024 they are just biased with prejudice. So much as painful as my experience was with them I don't want anyone else to go through that hell of wickedness. I leave them to God Almighty for the right punishment except they didn't intentionally did everything I mentioned here.

*Red Flags:*
1. Unexplained visa rejections
2. Exorbitant "administrative fees" for refund
3. Lack of transparency and communication
4. Collaborative exploitation with Turkish authorities

*Advice:
To all prospective international students, beware of Near East University's deceptive practices and other Northern Cyprus nations since they are under the same Turkish umbrella. Research thoroughly, and consider alternative institutions with transparent policies. Northern Cyprus is a no go area or zone because many other people have made comments about them online but they didn't know about trustpilot. I believe in trustpilot that's why I brought my complaint here for the world to see and learn from.

*Evidence:
I have proofs

*Warning:
Avoid Near East University and all other northern Cyprus schools and the Republic of Turkey's questionable education system.

Please share this review to protect others from falling victim to NEU's exploitative tactics.
