Definitely not worth it

Definitely not worth it. Generally once you join, they tell you to start following college coaches and sports programs on X (twitter) in order to get 'noticed' ... they don't tell you this when they are trying to get you to buy into their program.

Then their coaches only meet/conference with you student athlete like every 3 or 4 months, and there is really no 'buy-in' with your student athlete.

Then the only emails you get are generally spam-like emails from colleges to apply for admission, etc.

My son did NCSA and was in the MVP football program for 4 years, and his skill level was rated by NCSA to be between "selective' & 'elite' and easily had football skills that exceeded most D2 & D1-AA schools, but my never got any offers ... and we followed a ton of coaches on X (twitter), etc.

So, is paying NCSA $4000 for their services, worth it? No.

My recruiting coach is awesome

My recruiting coach is awesome. Because of his background he knows what I am going through and how to best help me. I wouldn't want to be going through this process without his support.

It’s a scam

It’s a scam. You pay money to get sold out to other predatory advertisers for costly camps that don’t mean anything. Wouldn’t do it again

NCSA recommended recruiting tool

NCSA provides tools that allow athletes to be seen by colleges they may have never been on their radar. They also provide data on each school such as staff emails for athletes to communicate with a school of interest.

Excellent Experience!

Tbh we were a little underwhelmed by NCSA for the first two years. However, after meeting Coach Santos Carrillo we have changed our mind. He was great to work with, very affable, knowledgeable and has the bonafides to back it up. He produced right away. We have had some very productive conversations with programs and an offer after we spoke with Santos. I would recommend NCSA because of our experience with Coach Carrillo.

Definitely Recommend

NCSA really makes the recruiting process more manageable. The athlete and family still has work to do that no one can do for them, but having so many robust resources all in one place is really nice

Fantastic service for College Recruiting

A fantastic service as you step into the unknown of college recruiting

While there is a lot of information online there is no substitute for being able to speak with people with experience across so many programmes who are independent in their view.

Coach Nick (rowing) was helpful, proactive, had a ton of experience and knowledge and really made a difference to our Son’s outcome.

Great Recruiting and College Information Help!

If you have a serious athlete who is motivated to play in college I highly recommend getting an upper tier NCSA account for them as early as possible. We purchased a 2nd from the top MVP package when our daughter was in 8th grade. She will be able to utilize this package until she graduates from college. NCSA recruiters can help college players who are in a transfer portal if need be. Her recruiting coach has been extremely helpful by letting us know what to focus on and what her next steps are along the way. Our membership includes weekly live lessons on topics like what the different college levels for athletes and how to deal with performance anxiety. You can access these lessons in their website archive as well. Our daughter had a long term sports injury right before high school so her recruiting coach was great helping us navigate her recruiting process during that. Her recruiting coach also knows what goals are best for her to focus on and the steps it takes get there. We paid a one time fee that will help carry our daughter thru college. I have learned a lot from the online live lessons because those are run by experts in the topics covered. NCSA also has links for your child to explore what college campus life is like as well. NCSA is extremely worth it if you purchase a plan that lasts through college and you join early. Take advantage of the monthly recruiter phone meetings and attend live lessons. Your child will also be in the NCSA data base that college recruiters can view. We have been very happy with the services and recruiting help NCSA has provided so far!
