I am very disappointed with The…

I am very disappointed with The National Ombudsman because they have put my case on-hold without giving a good reason.

Also I have not seen genuine efforts and good faith to protect Citizen's rights in my case.

Having said that, I will give them one-star for their earlier efforts to remind the Team Klachten & Bezwaar from Dutch Customs to investigate my complaints. The context of this complaint was that by law the Team Klachten & Bezwaar should investigate the complaint within 6-weeks (and in special case 10 weeks) and my case was neglected for more than 10-weeks.

Thanks to the National Ombudsman's reminder, the Customs' Klachten & Bezwaar team "investigated?" my complaint. I put a question mark on the "investigated" because can you trust an organization who have neglected your case for more than 10 weeks and then had to look into your case under external pressure, to impartially investigate your case. It likes to ask a butcher to examine their own meat.

When I have told the National Ombudsman Office that I am not happy about the customs' own investigation and gave them detailed reasons and evidences why I am not happy. The National Ombudsman Office put my case on hold.

The reason they are given are as follows: "The reason is that there is a chance of overlap with the procedure with the OM, and the ombudsman always has to take into account the outcome of other procedures. We will therefore wait for that outcome, and then look which aspects of your complaint are still relevant and decide if there is a role for the Nationale ombudsman".

And this is my answer: "It is extremely unfair to me if the Ombudsman Office is doing nothing before the Judge hears my case because the Customs and OM office has excessive power and resources to collect evidence against me, funded by tax-payer's money, and I am on my own time and money. "
