I've been using them for more than a year now. I gave 5star because they have home residential IPs too, in case you don't want the regular VPN with a datacenter. It's cost effective for me to getting... See more

Great customer support

While I can’t say anything about the software itself I simply want to rate the customer support. I unfortunately can’t download the service due to my Microsoft store being broken. However after stating my issue and asking for a refund it was applied mere hours later. I’ve also forgotten to cancel the subscription and again the refund came within the same day no questions asked. I don’t know how good the monthly subscription model of Mysterium vpn is however I have excellent experiences with Mysterium Dark. A pay for use model. You pay for the amount of data handled by the node essentially. While it is quite pricey it’s probably the best vpn server out there.

Only good for residential IPs.

MysteriumVPN is a decentralized, residential VPN. If you're looking for that, Mysterium is probably your best bet. Unfortunately, the support is nonexistent, and the VPN is RIDDLED with bugs. Certain days, the nodes will be almost completely unusable, and others it won't even let you connect. It seems like there's another issue every month. This has probably been the least reliable piece of software I have ever used by far. The developers of MysteriumVPN need to step up their game by providing better communication, support, and fixing the numerous errors.

The nodes themselves are usually fully residential, however they are almost always slow and your connection will randomly drop. If you use this for playing any sort of video game, please keep in mind that you WILL disconnect OFTEN. Like every 1-2 hours.

The app also has little to no communication about these errors, often time giving you an error code that you cannot find any information on.

Overall, ONLY use MysteriumVPN if you ABSOLUTELY NEED a residential VPN. Otherwise, there are many other alternatives that outcompete Myseterium in every single way.

Good VPN

The VPN works quite well, don't have anything really to complain about. It provides Residential IPs, not many other VPNs provide this. That being said, I did experience some minor problems with connections being a bit slower than usual and unstable, but it seems like those issues have been resolved already and everything works with no issues for me.

So slow I cant use it and support doesnt help

Paid for one month to try it out and its terrible. Promises fast speeds for Australia and I'm getting 3MB down and 2MB up with 400 ping. Tested it on my phone and it's the same. Contacted support over two weeks ago and they completely useless. Just keep saying they have passed it onto their dev. Don't use this VPN, its a scam.

Speed is good

The speed has improved recently, before it often used to disconnect but it seems no longer the case. It doesn't mean it is great, sometimes it's slow so I give 4 star. I believe the Mysterium VPN will improve.

VPN works well

I've been using this VPN for a couple months for my personal use and everything worked good for the most part, especially the unblocking of geo restricted services. But there was a few downtimes on the app, however they didn't last long so it didn't affect me that much.

Good VPN

Been using Mysterium VPN for almost 1 month now. Everything for the most part has been working fine with residential IP addresses for the counties I've connected to.
There was al little bit of downtime but found information on their social media

Nice performance

I have been using it for over 2 months, the service had some downtime but the team is very helpful and been answering user's question on telegram and getting it fixed but except this the speed is excellent, just perfect as I thought it would be not good as it is residential IPs but not the case with Mysterium VPN. Keep doing the nice work

Improved speed

I lived in singapore for a several months, the speed from there to UK or the US was not great but not bad either and then I moved back to scotland. It's doing really well except the latency could have been little better which I hope the Mysterium VPN team will improve it with time.

Good experience overall

I started my yearly subscription on the 3rd of May, 2024 and so far I am happy for the product and customer service I received (they usually reply in a matter of minutes). I was looking for VPN with wide selection of servers/locations and IPs there and so far MysteriumVPN meets my needs.
I wish they can improve connections to Asia making it more stable in terms of latency and speed, however Asian servers isn't my top priority, therefore I give them 5 stars!

Good luck guys!

MysteriumVPN's lack of communication and transparency

So I've been using MysteriumVPN for a few days now. The first day was actually good, no issues. However the past 3 days I've been getting disconnected from every node I try to connect to within a few minutes of connecting, sometimes even seconds. It's impossible to us the internet. I tried contacting support with extensive information/screenshots only for them to be closed the whole entire day on Tuesday and for them to ask me 1 question just to go offline again. They call this "Live Support". Personally I think someone is attacking their service and there is no actual way of seeing the status of their service. I know they use WireGuard protocol but it has nothing to do with them. The webpage status.mysteriumvpn (which is advertised on their website) does not exist. Same with their social media accounts or discord server. Their e-mail address is the only way of contacting them, but I doubt you'll get a response within a somewhat decent time period. The MysteriumVPN desktop app is also highly underwhelming. the only status you can see is (connected or disconnected) And it doesn't update on dropped connections, only when the user clicks disconnect.
