Spin the wheel shame

Spin the wheel seems to be just a way to reduce giving Nectar points. Mainly receive one point now instead of the guaranteed five on the old system. It would have been more honourable to withdraw Nectar points altogether than insult readers' intelligence. Plus today, entered the numbers, didn't present the wheel and now it says I'v used the numbers.

What a con

What a con . Not only does this spin the wheel encourage gambling and cannot be used by those who cannot gamble for many reasons , religion being one , but it’s designed to give you less points . Whereas I used to get 5 now almost every day it’s 1 ….. so not buying the

Struggle to even input my unique…

Struggle to even input my unique numbers as frequently can't access the website, so numbers are frequently no longer valid as it sometimes takes days to access website! (all other websites I use do not have these problems!)
Then if I do finally access website and input numbers, spinning the 'golden' wheel usually means I only get 1 point.

All spin and no rewards

Agree with everyone else. Spin the wheel aka con your customer base is transparently biased without exception to give a paltry 1 or 2 points. Pointless exercise in how to alienate loyal readers.

Spin the Wheel nectar points

Spin the Wheel nectar points. Why the Daily Mail even bother to continue this joke is beyond me. I too have received one point this last few weeks each time I enter the numbers. It would be better to scrap the whole think. I will not be doing this in future.

The Spin the Wheel promotion is…

The Spin the Wheel promotion is worthless. I've collected points for a number of years and until the introduction of Spin the Wheel I was getting 10 points per day. Since its introduction, my average is 5.26 per day, with most of those coming the first couple of weeks, probably to make me think this was a good thing. In 46 days, I've received 242 points, whereas previously I'd have had 460. It's no longer worth doing it.

Spin the wheel a waste of time

Spin the wheel a waste of time. Why not just say the previous system was too generous and reduce to 5 points a day. Really disappointed as a long term reader and mail subscriber but this will change.

Spin the Wheel is a cynical ploy…

Spin the Wheel is a cynical ploy to keep customers without actually giving them anything. Nectar points are pointless!!
I used to regularly get vouchers for shopping with Marks or other shops, because my points built up quickly, but with this new 'system' it would take me many months just to get enough points for a £5 voucher. One or two points per day, which is what I am getting, is an insult. The Mail newspaper is afraid of anyone winning anything, Spin the wheel is rigged, and shows that loyal Mail customers are not valued any more. I am now looking at 'The Telegraph'. No gimmicks, just the news. I hope others follow suit.

Spin the wheel

Spin the wheel, a joke. As with other reviewers the awards are normally 1 or 2 points and in my case after entering the daily numbers the wheel does not even appear.. Complained to the Mail and was advised to list dates on which the wheel didn't appear, not worth the time.

Nectar Points - Spin the Wheel Farce!

Since the Mail has introduced the 'Spin the Wheel' for the Nectar Points, I've only once had 5 points. Every other time I have had only '1'. What a farce, why not just be honest and say that you are reducing the amount of Nectar points on offer. It's a matter of being transparent and having integrity. On principal, we shall no longer be purchasing or reading the Mail. Don't insult our intelligence 😖

Spin to win

Spin to win. What a load of rubbish! Can't believe they are selling it as a positive. I mostly only get 1 and 2s. Really not worth the effort. I feel so insulted and now refuse to buy the paper. I have worked out that with the numbers that are there, the best possible scenario is an average of 7 compared to the old 10! But that's definitely not my average!

I’m no longer being part of this Daily Mail farce, I’m surprised and disappointed that the Daily Mail has stooped to this fairground charade Spin the Wheel! To expect the public to believe it’s a game of chance is insulting, I’ve finished with the Mail, no more newspapers for me

Daily Mail Spinning Wheel

I Have Just Come Of The Phone To A Guy Called Chris At The Daily Mail Regarding My Mail Reward Points And In No Uncertain Terms Informed Him That They Have Just Lost A Long Unvalued Customer Due To Their New Points System i'e The Points Spinning Wheel Is A Total Farce. He Was Very Apologetic With Regards To This And That He Would Forward My Comments To Those In Charge And Told Me That Our Conversation Was Being Recorded And That It Would Be Listened To By Those Who Run The Mail Rewards Within The Company. Well I'll Hold My Breath For However Long It Takes 🤔😔

I totally agree with the other comments about Spin the Wheel. Buy a paper every day and the first week was promising with a few higher points - 10 was the max. But since then it’s been mostly 1 or 2, maybe an occasional 5. Waste of time inputting and what an insult for our loyalty!! A change of paper is called for I think!

Spin to win a joke

As a subscriber l was getting 10 points per day now l'm consistently getting 1 or 2. It's not even worth the effort of entering the numbers anymore. Every time the system of collecting points changes, the customer ends up with less. Well you can't get much less than the points awarded now. Time to end spin to win and get rid of nectar points for good. I doubt they will though as it's a place for advertising.
