Have used myideals for a few things and the deals have been great. Only recently had to deal with the actual company and their customer service was great. I had an issue which they responded to quickly, looked into, resolved and also followed up with me. Can't ask for more.

Read the SMALL PRINT!!!

I'd used My Ideals on several occasions and always found the offers available pretty good value for money.

I've given My Ideals vouchers as gifts as well as purchasing them for my own use to catch up with friends.

The most recent voucher I purchased was on 3rd June 2024. A £50 voucher which would buy £100 worth of food at my chosen restaurant, Le Bistrot; a restaurant I'd previously been to with friends, also using a My Ideals voucher.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our booked table due to my ill health and didn't get round to rebooking, as I was then moving house.

Anyway the point of my review is to publicly state that this discount site has some great offers, but please, please read the small print. By small print I specifically mean the EXPIRY DATE of the voucher. In this instance my voucher was only valid for 8 weeks, give or take, and yours truly didn't pick up on that. I guess I'm used to buying offers from other companies where the validity period is much, much longer than a couple of months.

It only came to my attention that my voucher was no longer valid when I went to book a table this last week. My Ideals have made it clear there is no wiggle room, and that I've lost my £50.

Yes, it's my own fault, but nevertheless, this has been a disappointing experience that I want others to avoid. And please, don't assume as I did, that being a good customer might get you a sympathetic response, or refund. When this ship sailed, it sailed.
