Not a fan of clarion
They are incompetent and only care about rent payments. My neighbour had a leak that started on a Wednesday and nothing was done about it ,which allowed it to spread from the third floor down to the first floor which has ruined my flooring ,my walls and light. The water leaked through the light which was very dangerous, causing arcing . My lights were off for over a week? I was left in the dark with three children and told to buy lamps.electric has been put back on but any emails about complaints and rectify. The damage caused by the leak has all been ignored appointments have been booked without me being informed and even today an appointment was booked and again the workmen has not shown up previously an appointment was booked but representative was sent to my flat 30 minutes earlier and said there was no access even though he did not attend at the time that was booked.

I'm not a fan of Clarion they do the wrong things one was entering a contract with ark pest control they are a dodgy company a few years ago ark placed 6 bait stations around the back of a block of flats in front of me and those bait stations are still there. we haven't got a rodent infestation the area is surrounding by woodlands and country parks nearby. Your bound to see the odd rat Fox's and owls keep the rat population down if they pick up a dead one that has been poisoned it will. Affect them leading to death bait stations should be banned. Recently I went out to throw my rubbish bags out and on the floor I saw 2 bait boxs near the bins. Again there isn't a rat infestation the residents keep phoning up clarion making up stories they Are forgetting the flats back onto forestry and open spaces. This has angered me clarion should of came down in person to investigate and see for themselves personally I never seen rat droppings

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to live in a building where the communal maintenance budget is apparently spent entirely on mobile phone data for the "cleaning" staff, take a look at Shinwell House or "Slumhell House," as the residents now rightfully call it on the Merrielands Crescent estate.
Clarion Housing has completely abandoned this place. The main lobby hasn’t seen a mop in weeks. If you brave the walk to the mailroom, you are greeted by a sticky, dried-out puddle that looks and smells suspiciously like either a massive puddle of urine or a tragic waste of Irn-Bru. Outside, the bins are flooded yet again, creating a brilliant health hazard for everyone living here.
Meanwhile, the actual "cleaner" can regularly be seen wandering the property, treating the communal areas like a private walking track while glued to his phone. Absolutely shocking management. Zero stars wouldn't be low enough.

Serious risk of fire
Myself and my home are left at serious risk of fire due to clarions electrical contractor that done the annual electrical safety check the contractor has wired the consumer unit Wrong whether this was done deliberately or not i am unsure a follow up appointment from another engineer from the same firm has Not rectified the fault the mains trip switch keeps tripping i have no electricity down stairs running an extension cable from upstairs to keep the fridge freezer on
Clarions answer is Not to answer the phone and block my phone number which has left me no alternative but to pay for a real electrician to come and fix the fault that clarions engineer created. Also been waiting Six years for a new front door and frame

Honestly Clarion are one of the least helpful companies I’ve dealt with.
I lost my job around 2 years ago & when things became difficult, I got in touch, because apparently Clarion are there to help. Instead, it took them absolutely forever to respond to anything and even longer to offer any sort of support, with some agents actually being quite rude.
Fast forward to now; I am earning, a payment plan is in place, and being paid fine as far as I’m aware. Problem under wraps. Oh no, Clarion send me a delightful threatening letter about legal action due to my arrears.
I get in touch, obviously confused, and just get a very unhelpful response telling me I’d missed a payment (when?), my direct debit had been suspended (again, when?) and basically they won’t stop any legal action unless I pay the (somewhat hefty) arrears (how?). Oh, and that they’d previously sent a letter about this (where and when?). Obviously we know the postal service is super reliable so there’s no way anything could have gone missing or not been delivered, right?!
Funnily enough, I’ve received no notice from them about this until the threatening letter. I wouldn’t mind if I’d simply ignored them and made no effort to pay, but apparently Clarion give not a damn about situations their tenants might be in or how to support them. Long story short, if life gives you a bit of a kick and you find yourself struggling financially for a bit, don’t expect Clarion to care or help. It’s absolutely all your fault.
