P2 Folding Rack package.
P2 Folding Rack package.
After customer service answered loads of questions and had 2 virtual tours of the P2 Folding rack, I went ahead and ordered it, along with 2 barbells and a set of plate weights.
I am very happy with the product and customer service. The rack is absolutely solid though did take a while to construct. Some instructions could be cleared and we did have one box missing so I wasn't able to use the pulley system until 3 days later when that part arrived.
My only negative comments on the P2 folding rack is that it would be nice to have the chin up bar lower so that you do not need such a high ceiling height. Our garage is 2.5m and I can touch the ceiling with my head doing chinups.
Second, the hook for the lat pull down is in the way if you want to do chin ups facing outwards from the rack. I bumped my head on it and it hurt. Just need to do your chin ups facing inwards and there is even leg room for leg raises when doing a chinup.
I also purchased the coloured bumper plates which are great and I also purchased the P2 7 foot and 6 foot barbells which feel good and solid.
I would prefer if the rack came with more J-hooks so I am currently waiting for them to come into stock so I can order some more.
All in all, a solid store rack and I have 100% it is going last a long time without issue. And the customer service I have receive has been great.

I purchased the Phase 2 rack and bumper kit and cannot fault any of it! I shopped around for a while as I wanted value for money but a sturdy piece of equipment and this is exactly that! Customer support was fantastic! Would 100% recommend!

In all honesty we probably won't buy…
In all honesty we probably won't buy anything again. We set up a studio with a large order, and had one barbell missing and all the nuts and bolts from the half cable system delaying our installation. These problems were solved however, which was great service.
However, we tried to return a dip bar as it is way too wide and shorts and anyone who trains would stear clear as it caused way too much internal rotation of the shoulder. We then realised it looked nothing like the photo advertised (which wasn't a real photo they informed us rather a digital one) and had no dimensions in the description. Granted it was outside the return policy time frame (28 days) but we did install an entire gym so would've expected some grace with this as they wanted us to arrange return for a part refund which would've left nothing to come back to us after cost.
Then finally nearly our entire dumbbell rack (2kg to 30kg) are chipping and flaking from the rack they sell, which surely indicates either the rack or dumbbells aren't fit for purpose? But again they wasn't much help with this either.

As for the dumbbells, our product team has thoroughly reviewed your concerns. The wear and chipping appear to be from contact with the rack during use, which can happen over time in a busy studio setting. The dumbbells themselves remain fully functional and safe when used correctly, and there is no fault with the product in standard use.

P2 Jammer Arms
I purchased these along with the P2 Quarter rack. Generally they are good however one of the arms doesn’t sit properly and comes in towards the middle making it unbalanced. When pressing you have to try and press and push to the right to try and get the arm straight so very difficult, considering the price I would expect more

Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service. I have a mantra, if the customer has a problem, we have a problem. Then go onto say if you want loyalty you solve problems that aren't always yours to solve. Muscle squad did just that. They went out of their way to fix a problem that was nothing to do with them. Great customer service and great equipment.

High-quality, great-looking equipment, but there’s work to be done when it comes to customer experience after purchase.
Pros:
• The equipment looks fantastic – solid, sleek and very professional in appearance.
• Delivery was incredibly prompt, which I really appreciated.
• The delivery driver was excellent – friendly, helpful and went above and beyond.
Cons:
• The delivery and installation process needs streamlining. I received far too many emails with scattered info, making it hard to keep track. A centralised hub or portal with everything in one place – including setup tutorials, care tips and user guidance – would make a huge difference.
• The video guides provided were disappointing: very short, spread across emails and YouTube, with poor sound quality and minimal detail. For high-end equipment like this, you'd expect better support materials.
• Assembly is extremely demanding – this kit really needs a professional installer, yet MuscleSquad charges a steep fee for the service.
• I had an issue with the final stage of assembly – four of the screws meant to attach the pull-up/support bar were the wrong size. I had to go out and buy replacements myself, which isn’t what you’d expect after spending this much.
• Lastly, the amount of heavy-duty packaging was overwhelming. It’s great that everything arrives well-protected, but it took a serious effort to break down and dispose of all the waste.
Final Thoughts:
MuscleSquad clearly produces high-quality, great-looking equipment and delivers efficiently, but there’s work to be done when it comes to customer experience after purchase. Better support content, improved assembly guidance, and more reasonable installation options would go a long way.
