If they fixed their pumps and took a little pride in the appearance of the store, maybe I wouldn’t leave 1 star. Always an issue with these pumps. Whoever owns this place obviously does not care.

At approximately 10-1010am on July 5th, I came to Murphy’s at 1609 E Beach Blvd, Pass Christian, MS 39571, with my 2 teenagers to buy a soda from the outside fridges. I picked the soda I was to buy and noticed my wallet was in my front seat of my jeep, located less than 5 feet from the fridge. I reached into my purse to retrieve my wallet without getting in my car, standing outside of it, for the 10 seconds it took to retrieve it. As I was walking up to the cashier with my wallet, the female manager began to yell at me and tell me to give her the soda. I asked her “can I not get my wallet ?” She proceeded to then accuse me of appearing to be stealing and how my actions of reaching for my wallet to pay were wrong and unacceptable. She continued to yell at me through the service window in front of other customers and then took the soda away and said she was refusing service and refused to sell me the soda. This is the service, or lack of service, I received. Is this the way your company instructs your employees, let alone managers to treat your customers? Is this the type of conduct you want representing your company? I did absolutely nothing wrong. I was not stealing and was literally walking up to pay when she began to berate me. My response was heated and defensive, absolutely. I was unfairly and unjustly accused in front of the other staff and customers of attempting to steal. Murphy USA is all over my home town and surrounding areas. My family and I have patroned them many times without any issues at all. Clean stores and bathrooms , fair prices, etc. This experience was awful and absolutely hateful and wicked. I’m appalled that this person works for your company and represents you. I hope I receive a response on this complaint so I can continue to be a Murphy USA customer and tell others they should as well. Service recovery after a horrible experience, is a reflection of the character and integrity of a company. I hope someone reviews the video footage of this incident.

The gas quality is terrible for any year car and is 20% ethanol which ruins engines .

Very hostile employees in management including assistant manager,

They are doing gatekeeping to who ever applied for a job , almost all managers are from a dollar general.

I am a 51 years old with my license expired waiting to get my new one. I went to buy cigarettes and I could not buy them because I got the license exp.
They are so ridiculous!

I guess they don't want to hire anyone.
I show up for my interview and find the manager is the only one working. They told me they were waiting for someone to come in to work. Eventually it led to the manager telling me they would call me and do the interview on the phone. As of today I still haven't received a call.
I get if you do t want to hire me but dont bs me with lies.

I was at the store 7470 in Union sc and this cashier I I think her name is Frances made me fill like I was at home she was friendly and nice when I left I was still filling good about my self Murphy you did good about hiring her she needs to be the manager

There shouldn’t be a reason for the line at the POS be out the door, if they had more than one person working at the same time it would run smooth

The young lady that works nights on Tuesday has the best customer service and very understanding and patient ! She does everything with a timely manner and is very sweet

I visit the Murphy's in Broomfield,Co regularly and every single time I am in the store no matter what time of day the employee(s) working are super nice and helpful. Every time. And there are a few that always engage in friendly conversations. It's refreshing. Who ever is running this store is fantastic management and knows how to pick em!! Thanks guys for being decent human beings...

I have been shopping regularly at Murphy gas station in Hurst, Texas and other cities but today experience was no other than horrible. Right after covid 19 pandemic, customer service in general has taken a hit for the low due to less trained employees and unenthusiastic employees working on low wages but today my experience was all time low with mannerless, mean attitude employee of Murphy not interested to work but busy on the phone with ear piece talking to someone and ignoring me to take my order for items and then taking for ever to finish the transaction. Horrible experience, would never go again. I need my value to be a customer. Cheaper prices is good but not at the stake of my dignity. I don’t want to be humiliated by cheap employee treating you like you are at their mercy. Never again. If Murphy can’t train their employees for better customer service , they don’t need to be in business

Murphy Express, right by Walmart on Inner Perimeter Rd. START PAYING ATTENTION. ASK FOR RECEIPT. Two times they told me we just need to rerun your card it didn't take and if it did we'll put the $ back on your card. LIES. This happen to me at the store on Norman and Inner Perimeter. No sooner than I pay walk to my car to pump they told me that lie. I tried asking what happened and thst I'm an hour away from home. Oh just run your card again they say. I'm glad I didn't, I'm still waiting be credited and they lying saying they reversed the payment. I've called my bank 3 times about $20. This is ridiculous for such a big merchant AND the cashier was rude. It was 515 in the afternoon. I ask for management. Noone was available they said. NEVER AGAIN!

I've been patronizing Murphy's for years now, I have myself registered in the point system! there has been two to three times that my points have gotten up to 7/8 hundred points, and the cashiers took it upon themselves to place my points on a purchase of gas! I keep asking myself what gives him the right to just take your points and use them as they choose without you asking for them to apply! In my opinion they should ask every customer that's enrolled in the Murphy program, do you want to use your points! I'm giving up!

All pumps and grades are marked "contains 10 to 15% ethanol".

The pumps also have a sign stateing not to use 15% ethanol in vehicles 2001 or older.

Thus none of the gas at Murphy's is safe for my older than 2001 vehicle.

I can safely burn 10% ethanol...but not 15% without risk engine damage.

I get about 3 miles to a gallon with their so called gas. They lure you in with cheap prices. And it's low low grade. To much ethanol probably but it's junk.👎

This conover location needs to get employees with a happy face. There are a couple of them that act like they dont want to be there. Had a couple of encounters with two of them there. Been going there from the start. Never had a problem until recent. When you work with the public you must at least put a smile on your face, Found two employees rude. No way to run a business.

Murphys USA have attractive facilities - but they serve run-of-the-mill gas. My 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid manual says use 87 octane TOP TIER gas. Murphy, the quality of your gas is the most important product you sell; I don’t care how fresh your Twinkies are.

I just filled up at Murphy Express store 8658 on Mary Esther Blvd. in Mary Esther, Fl. 32569. I printed a receipt and when I looked at the receipt the pump had charged me for SUPERRUN gas instead of the 2.65 a gallon of regular gas, and this was on pump # 8 . I went inside and asked the cashier about it and she basically said she did not know what gas I had put in my truck, she then called a lady that I assume was at home because I could here a baby screaming in the back ground, which was no help at all and made no attempt to put the money that was the difference back on my card. I suggested to the cashier that she call to get some one to come and inspect the pump, but I got the felling that I just might as well been spitting in to a 50 mile head wind. The price of the SUPERRUN Gas is 3.15/9 per gallon and what I thought I was pumping was the regular gas at 2.65/9 per gallon, the total gallons were 9.782 gallons and the receipt total was 30.90 dollars. I absolutely love Murphy's, the staff is amazing, welcoming& genuinely kind.I've never encountered anything less than helpful&super incredible staff.
Store number #7361 which I frequent a lot, I had the pleasure of meeting Tyler and I absolutely could write a book on him about how welcoming,warm & kind he is. I feel like he deserves a raise and paid vacation. So with that being said I appreciate him as well as others staff members. Thank you Tyler for being so great. God Bless You& Murphy's as a conglomerate.

Just wanted to comment. I don’t no why Murphys in Hamburg, Lexington Kentucky is much higher than other stations around it. For example, Sam’s Club is $2.59/gal today, and surrounding stations are at $2.69 but Murphys gas is at $2.87/gal. Today is 01/02/25. They are consistently higher and their prices fluctuate much more than any other stations I’ve noticed. Why is that?
