Received my Hideaway cabinet yesterday and built the unit today. Although I am pleased with it and the quality was expected for the price paid. My only disappointment was on installation of the byfold doors; I found that due to the doors finishing flush with the bottom of the unit, when installing on a carpet, the doors snag and become impossible to open and close.
Will have to look into fabricating a plinth or reducing the length of the doors so they are proud of the carpet pile.

Essexflatpack.co.uk just installed another Cambridge high sleeper in Hove, West Sussex no problems, great product, manufactured very well.

I at first was very hesitant at spending so much money on a bed when you can buy similar at Argos and IKEA but I decided this new bed for my daughter needed to last her until she leaves home so decided to spend the little bit extra and boy I'm so glad I did. I looked at the cheaper beds and as you do have them a wobble and they creaked and wobbled. The bed I brought from this company does not make any scary noises, doesn't wobble and is extremely safe. My 11 year old and 17 year old done a extremely good test on it. I found bed a bit scary when I looked at it all laid out and I won't lie my 17 year old and myself wasn't looking forward to building it. I lost the instructions that is how long we put off building it. But I can hand on heart say it was one of the easiest flat packs I have ever built. It took my son and I a hour and a half with no instructions. Totally and utterly impressed with the bed and the company. Customer service are very polite and helpful. And nothing seems to much trouble for them. Top marks in everything. Will confidently but with extreme confidence again.

After a disastrous order with Homebase my 5 year old daughter was left without a bed. I contact please Mrs flat-pack and requested a bed and after explaining what had happened and said it will be with me 5 to 7 working days. The bed turned up at 4 working days. I'm so grateful for everything everyone has done to get my daughter a bed including being kept up to date with dispatch and delivery.
I will highly recommend you everyone I know.

I ordered a bunk bed with desk below and wardrobe built in. It was around 200 pounds+ cheaper than i could find anywhere,it was delivered on time and when assembled was the best bunkbed i have seen and the cheapest. I would recommend
Mrsflatpack anytime.

I placed an order for the shorty high sleeper cabin bed on the 15th october. Never received the order confirmation email so after a few days I rang to make sure they had placed it as the money had been paid via PayPal. Spoke to a not very helpful man who said he would send an email again so I had an order number etc. I asked if he knew roughly when the bed would be delivered, the reply was within 15 working days.
I left it a further week, still no order confirmation email so decided to telephone again asking if they had an estimate time of delivery yet, another wasted phone call as still no closer to knowing, all he could tell me was up to 15 working days. It's okay though apparently because the driver will text the day before delivery... It's not like we don't have work to get to or anything.
Well Thursday 5th November is the 15th working day since some the order was placed so that must mean as its Tuesday now,my text should come tomorrow for delivery...
Bit disappointed at the lack of communication and disregard
Hopefully It will get here in one piece and without any more issues

Bed was delivered as stated on the 15th working day just minus the fixings for the wardrobe doors. Got to wait now for them to be sent via post

I bought a Cambridge high sleeper from Mrs Flatpack a few weeks ago
I had to wait a few weeks before I could build it as we were waiting for new carpet in the bedroom
I built the bed 3 days ago, and noticed almost immediately how unstable and unsafe the bed looked
I have since reported this to Mrs Flatpack and their response was not at all good to say the least
I must state at this point that I have been fitting bathrooms and kitchens for 17 years and have built hundreds of pieces of fitted furniture in this time
Mrs Flatpack have said that the problems we are have is due to the way I have built the bed or our floor being uneven
I have sent them a video showing how the bed leaves the floor as much as an inch when even the smallest amount of pressure is applied to the ladder, and that I feel it is unsafe for our child, they didn't really care about my concerns for the safety of our child and have said they will send someone to rectify the problem
I can't think how this is possible as it was built 100% correctly?
I have told them that know one will be putting screws or brackets through our new floor and walls that have all been decorated within the last few weeks and that a refund is the only acceptable outcome in this instance
We wait the outcome but feel we may need to take the matter further and have no problems doing so
Avoid at all costs!

The bed was built correctly, but the pack of lies they are now spouting is no surprise to me....
The bed was indeed picked up last week, but I STILL have no refund!
This company is by far the worse company I have ever dealt with, the customer service is appalling and the quality of the products is rubbish to say the least.
Should you still feel the need to purchase from this supplier be it on your head. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!

We found Mrs Flat Pack by searching on the internet for a shorter than normal bed due to limited bedroom size. We did our research, found some reviews and they were generally all positive so we went ahead and ordered 2 beds, once ordered we had email confirmation and then another confirmation email a day or so later confirming that the order was being processed and they would be in touch to arrange delivery at a later date. One of the beds we ordered had a free mattress, however, after contacting Mrs Flat Pack this was only a basic one and could not be upgraded to a luxury memory foam one which was a bit disappointing, however, we purchased a foam mattress elsewhere.

2 weeks passed and we hadn't heard anything so I sat down and started to enquire how the order was progressing and when the beds would be delivered, by the time I had wrote this we had received a text message from the delivery driver asking whether we would be in the next day to receive delivery as he was in our area. I was disappointed with this short notice and the fact that Mrs Flat Pack hadn't contacted us at all. When the beds were delivered they were delivered by one man on his own in a small transit van; for £50 I'd expected a national company to be used (for comparison we've just had 20 furniture items delivered from Ikea (89 parcels in total) for £35.... (At least we've got the free mattress which we can sell to recuperate some of this charge..)

The main issues came when building the beds, due to the poor wormanship involved in the parts of the bed we had to drill extra holes for dowels and extra screw holes as some were in the wrong place. Also the quality is worse than Argos furniture which, for a specialist company is very disappointing. Maybe we've been spoilt by the excellent quality from Ikea but the parts should fit together properly.

The good thing is the children are happy with their beds and if they last a couple of years we'll be happy and then we'll get their new ones from an alternative supplier.

We ordered a Football High Sleeper bed for my little boy after coming across the company online. I checked the reviews and they seemed to be generally favourable. I was a little sceptical as the prices were a lot more reasonable than anything similar we'd looked at. We ordered on a Saturday morning. I had received an initial confirmation straight away and an email the following day to say it was being processed. We had a call from the delivery driver on the following Tuesday evening to say he was in the area, would we mind if he dropped it off then! The bed came in three large boxes and was very well packed. The instructions were very clear and well laid out. It took 2 of us about 5 hours to build over two days. All the pre drilled holes lined up perfectly, everything fitted together beautifully and it was a lot more solid than we expected. My son is thrilled with it and we have already decided to use the company again when my daughter is old enough to have a 'big bed'

We bought a high sleeper kids bed from Mrsflatpack.com. I am incredibly impressed by the speedy delivery and the product. My partner put it together on his own it took him about 5 hours. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. My little boy is absolutely thrilled with his new bed I really can't fault it. Would 100% use this company again and recommend to anyone. Bought a Cambridge cabin bed and I must say I'm very happy. It's extremely sturdy and my 5 year old son loves it. Hanging rail is nice and spacious and drawers are a good size too. My only criticism is that there are no pre drilled holes anywhere for plug leads to be fed through behind the desk or backing board so you have to do that yourself or have leads draping down in front of the desk. But otherwise everything is great. Instructions are easy to follow and there are plenty of fixings to keep it safe.

I ordered a very large High Sleeper, Wardrobe Combo bed for my teenage daughter. It arrived when they said it would, the build instructions were clear and concise, we followed them to the letter and assembled an extremely high quality, good looking bed.

Can't fault any of the process from ordering to deliver to assembly.

I ordered 2 cabin beds and 2 mattresses and all the items were delivered within the week, the delivery driver called me before arriving and arrived exactly on time. The furniture is excellent quality (I ordered the white beds) and very easy to put together with perfect instructions. The cabin beds are very sturdy and I feel that my children are safe as can be.

I would certainly buy from Mrsflatpack again and will certainly be recommending them to my family and friends.

I purchased two high sleeper beds (a Calder and Cambridge) and two mattresses. Firstly the £50 delivery charge was a bit steep especially when the driver phoned one evening and said "I'm passing in about an hour and I've got the beds on board" meaning it was hardly a special trip. That said the delivery was very quick, within a day or two.
The quality of the product is quite good but there were a number of small chips to the wood. However I appreciate you get what you pay for and these were by no means the most expensive beds we looked at. My main gripe is with the general design. The wardrobe is hopeless, clothes have to go in at an angle and you can only use half the wardrobe. I've taken the back off and moved the rail back so a lot more will fit it. If the side of wardrobe went to the back of the bed this would all fit very nicely and give a much bigger wardrobe. Likewise the desk and shelves only go halfway back leaving a lot of wasted space when the whole idea of these beds is to save space. The only downside in doing this would be a slight cost increase for using a bit more wood. Also the silver piece of trim that goes along the front smartens it up quite nicely. But why do you not get another but to go the other side of the ladder.
These beds are good for what you pay but with a few small changes they would be fantastic.

I bought a cabin sofa bed for my son's birthday. He loves it. The quality of the bed is brilliant and it was easy to assemble. Very good price and fast delivery. My daughter now wants a sofa cabin bed as well for her Birthday so I will be looking to buy her one too.

I purchased over £800 worth of goods from Mrs flat pack and have and still have a fault with the doors provided. They turned up damaged and marked with a manufacturing fault and they will not send replacement items. I have tried to speak to their directors they are not interested either. I would avoid purchasing from them at all costs as there customer service is terrible.

I was looking for a mid height cabin bed for my 10yr old daughter, I found the wolf cabin bed on this site was much cheaper than similar products elsewhere. I was working to a schedule as it was a birthday surprise. I can't stress how helpful Lesley and all the other staff were. The bed was originally out of stock but everybody worked hard to get the bed to me in time. I had calls in the evening and weekends keeping me updated on the progress. The bed was delivered by a very helpful delivery man. There was a hitch when the bed arrived but Lesley was at the end of the phone and helped straight away. The bed is very robust, the storage is big and my daughter loves it as do I. Thank you so much Mrs Flatpack. I would highly recommend this company and this bed too!

i phoned Mrsflatpack after being let down on day of delivery of my daughters bed from Argos. I explained my situation, that my daughter had no bed as got rid of old one day before Argos were suppose to deliver her new one. They were extremely helpful and managed to arrange delivery for me the next day. Fantastic customer service and product. Thank you

I ordered the bed and the expected delivery date was for about 2 weeks. It did not take anywhere near that for it to arrive. The delivery driver was really helpful and told me to open the smaller boxes first to make sure everything was there as I wasn't building it for a couple of days. Everything was there and all in order. The bed built is really sturdy and of a really good quality. I am really please and so is my daughter.
