Flower Arranging Workshop…

Attended the flower arranging workshop last Sunday.
Sarah was welcoming, polite, professional and, provided great tips on flower care and flower arranging.
Was given a lovely and very generous selection of flowers and greenery with which to put my own arrangement together.
The two hour session was great fun and, surprisingly relaxing.
Can highly recommend

I got given some flowers that dies the…

I got given some flowers that dies the next day. When I contacted customer service they said they wouldn't help as it had been 24hrs after the purchase date. The the support I would have expected from such an expensive bunch of flowers.

Flowers left to be stolen

I ordered flowers and champagne for my daughter in London. My daughter was out and they left them on the doorstep making no attempt to contact her. Unsurprisngly somebody nicked them.
No process in place to complain hence leaving this review.
What a terrible company!

Utterly useless!

I ordered flowers and chocolates for Mothering Sunday delivery (order267018) on the Wednesday before. I assumed that paying the premium price and using a company with a royal warrant would ensure delivery. In the event I had to chase them twice and was told the package was ready and waiting for collection. This gift was not collected until after 5pm and was finally partially delivered at 21.11. The chocolate part of the gift did not arrive. I have requested a full refund but was told by Angelica in Customer Service that because the flowers were delivered on the day (albeit at 21.11 at night) that none was due. The chocolate were not received. Utterly useless as a flower / gift delivery business!

Placed a £70 order for flowers for…

Placed a £70 order for flowers for Mother’s Day for delivery on Saturday (day before Mother’s Day). Order delivered to the wrong address. Moyses Stevens said they would redeliver on the Sunday (Mother’s Day itself) and then failed to do so. No flowers delivered to our 80 year old mother and no apology given. DO NOT USE this company

Nice flowers, terrible delivery

Second time I’ve ordered from them, second time delivery was late. They said I’d have them by 6, they arrived at 9. Flowers were nice, but for this price I expect a far better service. Not buying from them again.

The workshop to create a bouquet and vase arrangement was a wonderful way to start a new week. Sarah had a lovely teaching style and I really enjoyed the two sessions and learnt a lot.

Wonderful

To date I have bought 9+ bouquets from Moyses Stevens (MS). I am a repeat customer who buys exclusively from them because of the long lasting, freshest, beautiful, head turning & magnificent flowers delivered. I like the deluxe size which fits perfectly into the vases bought from MS so all I do is pop them into the vase so the professional arrangement remains intact. All the flowers delivered have been in excellent condition furthermore they last an exceptionally long time because in addition to being sent quality flowers I have educated myself about how to best take care of them. I recommend the Marylin Monroe bouquet to those wanting a soft, delicate & exquisite arrangement, I have bought this delightful arrangement twice now. The option to select delivery by 12pm has been removed now so delivery by 12pm has to be arranged through customer services before placing an order. Nationwide delivery is made by DPD. Ordering through an online account is rewarded with points & when enough points are accumulated then a voucher code is generated which is a nice touch. It is not my place to diminish some of the negative reviews because we are all entitled to share our perception but what I would like to say is to give MS a chance to see for yourself, spend time before ordering to share with customer services the vision you have, your expectations about bouquet size, stem size & seasonality. All questions are answered promptly by a customer services department who are kind, generous with their time, care about the work they undertake & work hard to ensure the order is correct. They are accommodating to vulnerable people with disabilities who perhaps struggle with what others find easy - I have been treated most kindly. Due to my disabilities plus a technical issue there was once a severe misunderstanding which MS managed honourably. These flowers being much happiness so do try them.

An Amazing Introduction to the Floral World

I had a wonderful experience as a student at the Moyses Stevens Flower School. I took the 5-day Essential Floristry Course in early November with tutors Sarah and Rosemary. I took this course with one other student, which allowed me to truly soak in the experience. Both tutors were remarkably helpful, clear communicators, and very kind. It was very nice to benefit from two different teaching styles throughout the duration of the 5 days.

Sarah welcomed us on the first two days, taught us the basics with ease and encouragement. She always offered to answer any and all questions we had for her and gave us plenty of time to work and explore. She also shared many important insights about floristry and the floral industry that she has gained over her 14-year career. Sarah cared about our interests and desires in creating and developing our personal styles.

Rosemary, who is the head of Moyses Stevens School, taught us the following 3 days. She was also very kind, patient, and helpful. She highlighted ways to further our education and exploration once we completed our course. Her teaching style challenged us to apply what we'd been learning and really start thinking like a florist, which was a great way to improve our confidence.

The wonderful tutors, coupled with beautiful/fresh flowers, and a productive/creative atmosphere, made this course an amazing introduction into the floral world. I would recommend pursuing this course if you want to understand and get hands-on in the floral realm. Come with all your questions, you'll definitely leave with them answered, and some gorgeous floral arrangements!
