Enjoying the streaming of MotoGP, but horrendous customer service. Emails never responded, unclear terms of service, sometimes spotty connection.

Video pass not working

Crappy applications. I’m jealous at friends watching illegal. That works better than my payed subscription. Service responds very late, after trying 4 times and a bad review video pass problems fixed. Now Videopass again failed, this time my race weekend ruined.

Too Expensive and low quality service

As usual too slow on demand service, At 9:50am we're still waiting to be able to watch the Japan race replay… The race was at 7 a.m., unbelievable. On top of that, the commentary is extremely poor — no real technical insights, nothing engaging, especially compared to other broadcasters like Sky Italia. And to make things worse, the subscription price is ridiculously high for such a low-quality service.

The app is actually quite good but

The app is actually quite good (I stream it on an Amazon Fire device). My issue is with the APPALLING commentary. Matt Birt and Lewis Suddaby are spoiling my enjoyment of this sport. Constant stream of drivel and the CONSTANT “Marc Marquez” talk make it almost unwatchable. I am desperate for a way to turn those two idiots off while still hearing the bikes.

MotoGp poor commentary by Matt Birt/

I have found it easy to stream from my iphone to the apple tv , the biggest problem we have with the coverage is the commentator Matt Birt , he never stops repeating himself telling us every few sentences what circuit we are at and he does this at every session he is on, along with the constant bombardment of unwanted other details it just becomes unwatchable and I end up shouting at the TV ! we have subscribed for years now but I don't think I can cope with him another season. It's a shame as we love racing but he just ruins the whole experience. I also don't know of any affordable options in the USA

Absolute tripe

Absolute tripe, I thought the Sky app was bad but this really takes the biscuit, can no longer have the pop out screen from the app only the website, why would they do that? If you leave the live feed for a few minutes it put you in the “gravel trap” in other words it cannot resume.
If you close the app the sound continues in the background, you have to actually close the app down to stop it rather than just leaving it. If you want to watch a single race then you have to load the entire day and then scroll to the race you want to watch, why are we treated like crap by Dorna all the time?

MotoGP takes no responsibility for the…

MotoGP takes no responsibility for the store, they allow the store to rip you off make it impossible to sort it out, then when you write to MotGP they tell you to contact the store disgraceful.

As prestigious as Motgp is, I do not understand how they can allow thier store customer service personnel to lie and cheat Motogp fans in the way they do, surely they should monitor their behavior. Apparently Motogp management condones the way thier store treat their customers and Motogp fans.
Several months ago I ordered 6 flag pieces with individual names 2 from each of 3 circuits. The first 2 arrived and I was asked to pay import customs duties (VAT) to which I was under the impression VAT was charged at time of purchase however I sucked it up.
Next deliver should of been for the next 2 squares however they wrote and told me that all 4 had been dispatched I emailed asked how this was possible seeing as one race had not even taken place, they apologise and stood corrected, next I got another demand for Customs duties (VAT) double the amount it should of been, I contacted the shop again they admitted they had made a mistake and advised DHL the wrong value and if I paid it they would send me a voucher code, send me the next 2 flags with Customs prepaid and refund my shipping costs, fair enough I thought.
Few days later I recieved the voucher code, then following the race at silverstone my final 2 flag pieces were dispatched, low and behold I got another Demand from DHL for the customs duties, obviously I immediately contacted the store who apologized and asked me for copies off the correspondence from DHL which I sent, they replied that they will look into it.
The same person that advised me they were looking into it then send me a email they had recieved from DHL explaining the customs duties had not been paid basically telling me to sort it out myself, I sent several further emails and no reply to any, I ended up paying the customs duties myself making me 150 pounds out of pocket
The bottom line is the store lied to me made false promises and have caused me untold stress, if this is how you do business then shame on them

Really frustrated with dismal streaming quallity

Really frustrated with dismal streaming quality. With image quality set to auto, the viewing experience is one of watching a collection of smudges smudging around a large smudge! Even with resolution set to 540 pixels there is as much buffering time as actual video. That is unreasonable given the premium price tag! We are in Victoria Australia and have none of these issues with streaming services like Netflix/Amazon/Binge/Stan so we can't blame our ISP.
Having lost free to air MotoGP I tried kayo for a couple of years but the picture quality was equally crap, so I'm guessing it is Dornas' own server also supplying kayo, that is hopelessly inadequate.
Unlike some of the reviews of the website, I don;t find it too hard to avoid spoilers.

The TV coverage is amongst the worst…

The TV coverage is amongst the worst I’ve ever seen! The commentators talk nonsense at times and more often the not miss the action points completely. I watched this weekend‘s race In three stages due to timings and each time I to restart as you cannot mark or pause the video. There is not even a time clock at the bottom of the screen to be able to see where you are to make it a little bit easier to come back to the same point. It’s like something off of the 90s in terms of functionality. For the cost, you would expect something far better!
With liberty media getting involved this will hopefully improve quickly 🙏🙏🙏🤞🤞🤞🤞

MotoGP app/website gets worse.

MotoGP gets worse.

Watching the Moto3 races from last year using a Roku 3 was easy until this week. Now the entire video back catalogue has to be searched to find a race.

Each step MotoGP takes with the app and website is in the wrong direction. I let them know but I do not think they care, so my subscription renewal has been cancelled.

I do care, but refuse to pay so much money in advance, so long.

Awful experience

A perfectly functional app was replaced by a half finished pile of disasters. All the features I liked have been removed. There's no " no spoiler" features now, meaning that on your firestick, if you're not careful, you can see the result on one of the other thumbnails on the home screen. The archive has vanished, as have the marks on the timeline which indicated points of interest in the video. They tell you glibly, that some functions are only available on the phone app. I want to watch on my big tv, not my tiny phone screen! How could they let this rubbish out before it's finished? What gives dorna, do you really have such contempt for your customers. No stars, if that was an option

You'd give it zero 0 if you could

You'd give it zero 0 if you could. I've done what they recommend (completely clear cache and all history) and it still makes me sign in to watch every video. You watch one video and then how do you get to watch the next video? It's complete rubbish and after 20 plus years I definitely won't give them my money next year or ever again

Ruined the site, and well on the way to ruining the racing too

What have they done? I'm sure they (and their UX people) are sat around saying things like "they will get used to it", but seriously it's the worst user experience I've had for years.
The biggest gripe is not just that you can't find anything, but that it's near impossible to avoid seeing spoilers while trying.
I did discover though that you can get to spoiler free videos (at least on some platforms, in the UK), via this link. .../en/videopass
So, I hope that at least helps someone not have another weekend of racing ruined by this mess of a site.

Oh, and when you're fixing that dorna... please:
- Ban aero
- Ban silly things like ride height devices
- Stop investigating and penalising riders every time they get too near to anybody. It feels to me like you're doing the exact same things that ruined F1 for anybody who wants to see racing where racers aren't told where they can overtake!

Terrible experience. I never know where to click to access spoiler free information. I have to click 10 times to find out what is where and there is nothing intuitive. All garbage.

Dorna is runned by morons

The Android App and the Google TV app is complete garbage. Only thing that's worse is the customer support. Such a high price for the subscription and then every race weekend is ruined by the software.
