Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 125 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people felt the game was unfairly designed and intended to compel them to spend money, making it impossible to progress or complete objectives without significant financial investment. Customers frequently encountered issues with the app, including constant glitches, disappearing rewards, and progress being reset, which led to frustration and a feeling of being cheated. The customer service was widely criticized for being unhelpful, unresponsive, and providing generic answers, especially when dealing with account suspensions or game issues. Some people also felt that the game's core mechanics, such as sticker collection and dice distribution, were unbalanced and intentionally designed to prevent completion, pushing users towards in-app purchases. Conversely, a small portion of people felt the game was enjoyable and provided entertainment, even acknowledging its addictive nature and the need for strategic play.

This game is terrible

This game is terrible. Alot of the time when you win it does not give the rewards. It sets you up so that you are not able to accomplish the goal so you don't win unless you buy dice for extra chances. I would not recommend this game to anyone who does not want to pay to play!!!

They tell you you received rewards when you didn't

When the game messes up and it missed rewards... and you ask about your rewards.. they give you a list of times they gave you the rewards but you NEVER got the rewards. They do this a lot. Their system is so messed up or they lie. I think their system is f-ed up and they just don't want to look into it and trust it and don't listen to their customers. it's just incompetent people over there and they don't do right by their players even tho they rack up so much money from us. they constantly do this.

First off

First off: It’s a great game setup, super fun. BUT!!! I wish I could find the exact game, yet one that is fair and the dice are as random as a normal set of dice! I would pay legit money for that game! I spent some money on this one until I realized it is totally rigged! So never again. I really think someone could make even more money than this game if they could create the same aspects and gameplay, but an atmosphere where players actually felt like they had a CHANCE to get rewarded without being tricked and manipulated by AI algorithms, where all gameplay is predetermined to maximize profits.

I've been playing this game for over a year now, and if you don't pay, you don't get to keep up with anybody else it's all bs and I wasted some money not very proud of that. Quite a few hundred dollars.
Just know they do it for the money, nothing else. get out your old Monopoly board and play it that way.
It's sad really.
I just quite today.

I feel this app is very addictive and encourages gambling with no return for money. Response from customers service is patronising and they never accept their clients are frustrated by their lack of support. All you see throughout the game is offers of packages at crazy prices. Surly this game needs to be reported to gambling platforms.

Monopoly Go kicks me out while I am playing

Monopoly Go kicks me out while I am on a earning streak causing me to lose $3 bucks, excusing and telling sorry that the game needs an update. Monopoly go should be sued! Monopoly go provokes their paying and loyal players to become hackers online. Monopoly go has a 3rd party agreement with Go Daddy! Please keep researching the opened sues against Go Daddy if you reading this.

BAD EXPERIENCE - DON'T PLAY

The problem with this game is not just the customer support, but the system itself.
5-star cards (and higher) are practically impossible to get. It’s not a matter of luck: after weeks of playing, it becomes clear that the distribution is completely unbalanced.
You end up stuck on the same cards, forced into impossible trades or chasing events that drain your resources without guaranteeing any results.
In my case, I even lost a trade for a 6-star card due to an issue with their invite link (which was later reset by support). The result? No solution, and responsibility shifted onto external apps.
So in summary:
- high-level cards are nearly nonexistent
- progression is blocked
- trades are frustrating
- support does not resolve issues
This is no longer a game of strategy or luck, but a system designed to hold you back unless you pay.
Think carefully before investing your time or money.

Totally agree with most of the reviews

Totally agree with most of the reviews. This game is an absolute joke. Never completed an album yet, same old cards etc. Racing game burns dice for no rewards despite winning 1st and 2nd race and 3rd in last race didn’t win overall. On top of losing dice I got 10 cards and only one new one. It’s completely gone to pot and targeted to players who spend shit loads of money. Don’t bother downloading this game it will leave you frustrated and resentful.

Don’t download this game

I used to really enjoy this game when I started playing it 3 years ago, I switched from dice dreams to monopoly go. But in the past year I haven’t enjoyed it as much. The rewards started to become slim and very skimpy. I waste over hundreds of rolls just to get maybe 200 dice and maybe a million dollars in rewards. It obvious this game is rigged and they want you to buy into it in order to win. Specially the peg e mini game. I will always get the lowest or second to lowest slot. And maybe id once in a while spend money but I never will with no rewarding system. I will probably no longer be playing this unless it’s to pass time in my drs office. I’m probably gonna switch back to dice dreams as their systems have made it more reward friendly. You guys truly are running this game into the ground, and knowing you’ve made many millions off your players makes me not wanna play anymore.

Btw this is the review I’ve tried posting on MonopolyGOs apple App Store 4 times… and would not post. So I will no longer be using it. They definitely pay for good reviews because how can on apple App Store be 4.8 reviews but on here not even 2 star reviews. Totally bootycheeks game.

The game is fun

The game is fun, I don't see why the reviews are so low when they don't have any ads and do have lots of events and ways to get ahead in game without spending any money. I've been playing for a couple of years now and I have to say that I really enjoy it, even if the main gameplay loop is watching your icon run around a board. If I were to state any issues, I suppose it does stray rather far from the actual rules of the game it's based on (Monopoly)- but, it's a mobile game meant for constant single-player play, so I can see why. I am wondering, though, how long it will take for Hasbro to make an actual Monopoly mobile game that lets you play real Monopoly on the go.

SCAMERS

If i could i would give 0 stars. They suspended my account in the middle of playing the game then ghosted me and replied after the whole day of waiting that i was using modified version of app which is the one from Google play store that I've been using for over a year. I lost my daily progress i lost in tournament and off course i lost in event. So no don't ever install this because they'll keep screwing u up👎 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎
