Misleading Parts, Terrible Communication — Only Resolved After Escalation
I ordered a T4 Umbau kit from Monopoel expecting the advertised Facet 40107 pump. Instead, I received a cheap, unbranded Chinese copy that started leaking badly shortly after installation. The pump was clearly not what was advertised — a textbook bait-and-switch.
When I contacted Monopoel, I was met with silence, and when I finally got a response from Mr B. He was condescending, unhelpful, and downright rude. I had to chase again and again just to get a basic answer.
They had they're time off during the time that the pump started to leak. On the website was a message: "telefonisch nicht erreichbar aber E-Mails werden beantwortet"
The only response I received from Mr B was "in 20 years, we've never had a pump leak".

Only after reaching out to the business owner directly did anything start to happen. After more delay, I was finally refunded — but there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the time I wasted, the oily mess I cleaned up, or the frustration I went through.
They later claimed it was an "accidental mix-up" — that the crappy Chinese pumps were stored next to the real ones. But that explanation only came after serious pressure and phone calls.
Needless to say, I won’t ever be ordering from Monopoel again. If you value honesty, quality, or support, think twice.
