I am extremely frustrated

I am extremely frustrated and honestly shocked by how terrible this experience has been.

I placed an order on December 27, 2025, for a vitrine and a sideboard totaling over 800 CHF. At the time of purchase, the delivery was clearly stated to be within 3–5 weeks, meaning I should have received everything by the end of January.

Then, without any proper explanation, the delivery estimate was pushed to mid-February. I accepted that, thinking it wasn’t too far off. But just a few days later, it was delayed again, this time to April. And now, here we are, with absolutely no updates, no transparency, and no accountability.

What makes this situation even more ridiculous is that I ordered a table from the exact same product line and model from another website, also with an estimated delivery of around 5 weeks. Not only have I already received that table a long time ago, but I have had zero issues with that order.

So how is it possible that for the same range and same model, sold by multiple vendors, one company delivers as promised while you are still unable to provide any clear update months later?

What makes this even worse is your cancellation policy. Charging 30% for a cancellation under these circumstances is nothing short of a scam. You fail to deliver on your promises, keep delaying orders, and then penalize customers for wanting out. That is completely unacceptable.

After looking into it, I was honestly stunned to see how many other people are dealing with the exact same issues. There are even articles online talking about this pattern of behavior. This is not an isolated case, this seems to be how you operate, and it’s outrageous.

On top of everything, your customer service is incredibly poor. You barely respond to emails, and when you do, your replies come across as dismissive and careless, as if you’re doing me a favor instead of addressing a legitimate issue.

This entire experience has been beyond disappointing. I expect immediate clarification and a proper resolution.

The online shop is a DISASTER

The online shop is a DISASTER! I ordered some curtains and table sets. I got my curtains but the table sets were sent to Basel while I live in Geneva… I had the confirmation that they would be sent to my house. So I called the hotline and one lady said « yeah Basel can send them to your address » I thought my problem was solved, a week later revived a mail saying my table sets were still waiting in Basel, called again and got told everything would be okay and they would send them. Guess what? After 2 months I still haven’t received them and got a warning that they would keep the table sets but I would have to pay CHF 5 per day for the keeping of the items and 30% of the price as a compensation expense when they’re the ones who screwed up the order. Finally after crying out of frustration I called again and a nice lady told me that it wouldn’t be sent and that she can ask for a reimbursement on their side but it usually isn’t taken into account.

AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM MÖMAX. This is the worst purchasing experience ever. We ordered a carpet on January 4th 2026, and 1 month later we still have not received it, we keep on calling them, sending emails and the only reply we get from them is "we will write to the online shop and your article will be sent today to you", and NOTHING.
Pure liars stealing money from customers.

What a terrible experience

What a terrible experience. I highly recommend everyone to stay away from this online shop: even the workers in their own store say they are problematic. Everything arrived either damaged, with missing pieces, or lacking proper instructions. The customer service is absolutely horrendous, and I have sent them now a request for a refund or compensation and I will update with what they respond.

1 Stern – Ich würde 0 Sterne geben, wenn ich könnte

Ich habe am 31. Januar 2025 ein Bett bei Mömax bestellt. Heute ist der 29. Juli – das Bett ist immer noch nicht da. Fast 6 Monate Wartezeit – ohne konkrete Auskunft, ohne Transparenz, ohne jeglichen Kundenservice.

Mömax hat mir mehrmals schriftlich zugesichert, dass das Bett innerhalb von 10 Tagen eintreffen würde. Das ist nie passiert. Stattdessen bekomme ich vage Ausreden, leere Phrasen wie „es befindet sich auf dem Transportweg“ oder „wir sind mit dem Hersteller in Rücksprache“. Seit Wochen. Wo genau befindet sich das Bett? Wieso werde ich nicht aktiv informiert, wenn es zu weiteren Verzögerungen kommt?

Ich habe klargestellt, dass eine Stornierung keine Option für mich ist, da das bedeuten würde, wieder 14 Wochen auf ein neues Bett zu warten. Ich habe seit Monaten kein Bett – das ist eine unzumutbare Situation. Die angebotene „Gratis-Lieferung“ als Entgegenkommen nach einem halben Jahr Wartezeit ist lächerlich.

Es ist unverständlich, wie ein Unternehmen in der Schweiz auf diese Weise überhaupt existieren darf. So kann man kein Geschäft führen. Kund:innen werden hingehalten, nicht ernst genommen, und letztlich allein gelassen. Das ist weder professionell noch verantwortungsvoll.

Ich würde 0 Sterne geben, wenn ich könnte. Mömax sollte sich ernsthaft überlegen, ob es unter diesen Umständen überhaupt tragbar ist, weiter operieren zu dürfen. Ich kann nur eindringlich davon abraten, dort irgendetwas zu bestellen.

I ordered a bed from Mömax on January 31, 2025. Today is July 29 — and the bed still hasn’t arrived. Nearly 6 months of waiting — with no clear information, no transparency, and absolutely no real customer service.

Mömax repeatedly assured me in writing that the bed would arrive within 10 days. That never happened. Instead, I receive vague excuses and empty phrases like “it is on the way” or “we are in contact with the manufacturer.” For weeks. Where exactly is the bed? Why am I not proactively informed about any further delays?

I made it clear that canceling the order is not an option for me, as that would mean waiting another 14 weeks for a new bed. I have been without a bed for months — which is an unacceptable situation. Their offered “free delivery” after half a year of waiting is laughable.

It is incomprehensible how a company in Switzerland can even be allowed to operate this way. This is no way to run a business. Customers are strung along, ignored, and ultimately left on their own. This is neither professional nor responsible.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Mömax should seriously reconsider whether it is acceptable to continue operating under these conditions. I strongly advise against ordering anything from them.

Horrendous Experience

Furniture is nice, service and delivery is horrendous.
Don't trust the delivery dates on their website. I bought a bed and a wardrobe back in May. Received the bed in late June. and still waiting for the wardrobe in mid-July. If you are furnishing a new appartement, please stick to IKEA, they deliver just a few days later (on the day you select). Communication is terrible as well. Their emails are in German with an awful translation into French. No, definitely, if you don't have the luxury to let them take their leisurely time to deliver to you, don't just walk away from Mömax, run.

I wished I’d checked the reviews before buying! I ordered garden furniture online on March 29th - it showed available in 6 days … that change to 14-18 April then I contact customer services and it was the 25th max, now there is no status! What is going on? No one is informing us and there is clearly some big issue that is being kept from us. It’s not like I’m waiting for a delivery just a pick up! I initially wanted to order in their NEW store in Conthey but was told to come back during the week because they were too busy to help me, excuse me what? I should have seen the red flags then too! When I contact customers services they shout at me because I can’t speak German …. I live in a French speaking canton and speak English and French! I think the writing is on the wall here ….. summer will be over before I see my order

really bad customer service and online store

Well, no idea how they can even exist. We ordered something with 2 weeks lead time, after 3 months we neither received the goods, nor did we get any update. I will not order anymore anything from Mömax, this is really no customer service. At least the cancellation worked and we got our money back.

Delivered broken furniture and not taking it back

I ordered a couch from them, NEVER AGAIN. They delivered it but one part is broken, I contacted them in every way but their WhatsApp number says they can’t do anything while they don’t respond to email. I have been waiting with a broken furniture in the middle of the room that I can’t even assemble. Do not give your money to them, I really regret shopping from here

I ordered something with the delivery to home. Sadly not all articles were delivered on time to the storehouse, so delivery to my home would be 1 month later that i expected it.
I came to idea to pick the furniture up myself and the experience i made with support center was amazing.
even though my request was impossible and even i felt annoying, they were respectful and verry helpful. They accepted my wish to change the delivery to : Selbst abholen, and they even did the further steps than necesary to help me.
After reading online the reviews i am so surprised to have so positive experience. Friendliness+ patience+ ready to help the Customers are the best :)

The WORST service EVER!

Unfortunately not an option to rate with a zero. Appalling service. Furniture was to be delivered 10 days after purchase, then 6 weeks additional, then one wee later, an email to say it’d arrived, then no it hasn’t, then it has then it hasn’t. It is most definitely the worst place I’ve ever shopped at. RIDICULOUS !! Go elsewhere! While I continue to wait for an article which is in their ‘depot’! NOT!

Waiting 8 months (and couting) for…

Waiting 8 months (and couting) for bunkbed

We ordered a bunkbed in Nov 2021, till this day it has not been delivered.
The arrival day is deleted 1 day before it should arrive and changed to "unknown delivery date".
Calling with customer service is hopeless. They dont help at all, don't know the status, can not say anything about when the bed will be delivered, don't offer compensation of any sort.
This is truly unacceptable!
Dont buy anything here!!

Rude and Ignorant Customer service

Customer service (the online shop) is quite rude, not listening to the customer, not offering ways to make up or resolve the issue, not owning their company's mistake! They will not even address their customer by name, and will not apologize or take a note after a complaint!
There were many errors on the website (not accepting a correct post code so we couldn't order the delivery service, not accepting their promo code - so we had to write the support to have that applied and still waiting for the refund, no clear information what's available and in which terms etc) - but these issues could be fixed or balanced with a good Customer Service.. However, the agent never reacted to my complaint and didn't transfer the request to the Manager as asked by me. Very rude, unprofessional and not customer oriented
