Honestly, had some issues, that was the case of the Better MC mod, contacted the help through that little chat, got reply from Stantios within 5-10min and instantly fixed all issues that I had. What a... See more

Not working
After two months of using, mc server stoped working and we can not join no more. For paid serever it is tragedy. Hate it. Aternos is better and its free.
Bad customer service
The app itself is really good, smooth feeling, easy searching and fantastic payment opportunities. Over with the good, the customer support is TERRIBLE. I wanted to publish my project, I told myself "okay they need time 72-96 hours, I will wait". IT'S BEEN A WHOLE WEEK, WITHOUT THEM APPROVING! Wake up Modrinth.
Garbage app
Garbage app. Lock you out of minecraft accounts with no way to get it to work. I deleted and just went back to minecraft launcher
Great product, awful customer support
Modrinth servers work phenomenally (outside of a few things) but the customer support and knowledgebase is awful.
pro tip: curseforge modpacks can be installed through links by clicking the + icon on the files page
Im a modrinth creator this changed my Life
Im a modrinth creator for now 3 years and i can Say this site Is Better then curseforge, curseforge meanwhile being more popular It has very shady things as a creator instead modrinth Is the best platform for publishing and downloading Minecraft mods (if you want to check out my projects on modrinth you are welcome, my name Is Upsidedow production)
Modrinth Server
While Modrinth servers do have their issues, I love the company's focus on supporting mod creators and maintaining clean, easy-to-use systems and servers. I've had a few issues, but their live support has always resolved them. I’ll always value good customer support over most other things.
Lost everything
My several week modded hardcore world had to be deleted because I couldn't sign into modrinth. I tried all solutions, and it didn't work. It just kept telling me I couldn't play because I was signed out and I couldn't sign in because I was already signed in.
The actual servers are alright if it works
The actual servers are alright, just tranfering any mods over onto the shitty modrinth modloader is insufferable. Their database is nonexistant, converting from cursedforge is basically not possible with how shitty their mod database is. Why tf do we need to download mods into a .mrpack file??? And literally no response back. Don't even know if this 24 hour refund is even guaranteed with how slow the response is.
Review
Great mod-thingy!
User friendly experience
a lot of mods
downsides:
importing from curseforge a bit buggy
sometimes search not displaying mods
Great website and launcher
Great website and launcher
The UI is great, the app allows to doenload content from the website that has an extremely big collection and has much less ads than competitors like Curseforge. I strongly recommend Modrinth!
The app and support is total garbage
They do not support offline accounts, what if your internet connection keeps cutting out? and the support is no better. The articles aren't helpful at all, and the bot keeps pointing to them instead of actually helping.
Worst server host there is
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVER HOSTING PLATFORM CANT EVEN RUN A BASIC MODPACK
Great platform, mediocre launcher
As a modpack developer, this is by far my favorite distribution platform. It's very easy to upload new versions, and the app integrates well into the platform. The app is a bit buggy at times, though.
DO NOT use modrinth server hosting!
I got their mid tier server package, 6gb ram and 6 vCPUs for $18/month.
The server can even run Vanilla Minecraft 1.21.1 with 1 player on the server. Anytime Myself or someone else would move around the server would jump to 100% cpu usage. The server side lag makes it up playable.
I've contacted support, I was told it would take 1 day to get in contact with staff. What I didn't realize was it takes 1 day to reply to every message.
Once I finally got and answer that actually addressed my issue their 'fix' was to upgrade my package... this services is a literal scam!
Horrible Customer Support
I want to really like their server host because performance is really good but the issue is that my server keeps timing out every 20-30 minutes.
I feel like this could have been an easy solved issue on their end as I triple checked everything before contacting support.
The main issue isn't that the customer service is bad but that it is NON EXISTANT.
UI is great and getting things set up is super easy but their mods really need to actually do their job on both the website and the discord server.
This modding website is EPIC
This modding website is EPIC
though they only do mc, it's still great. many good mods, no viruses.
completely useless, not sure how they held on so long
almost all the modpacks require you to download mods not on their system. its a completely useless app that makes downloading modpacks harder. your better off using curseforge since they have every mod you could dream of.
Scammed me👍✔
Modrinth Pyro sketchy less information for server
After asking which components Modrinth server is using the devs of pyro just said "fast nvme" "fast ddr5 ram" Kinda untrusty if even the server hosting platform does not want to say which exactly components they're using (also not showing them on the website) and just saying "there are fast" Every other hosting service is telling me exactly what they're using.
Better than curseforge
Really clean & easy-to-use UI, launcher works well, all components are even open source, has a well-documented API allowing other custom launchers to download modrinth mods, gives a large amount of money back to mod creators and is overall very community-centered.
