Michael Jordan’s Steak House Reviews 3

This is for the MJ steakhouse at the Mohegan Sun Casino in CT.

Food was tasty but not worth the prices. 10oz Wagyu sirlion was a hockey puck for $60 and 12oz Wagyu strip was not 12oz for $80. No flavor. Service was extremely slow. For a party of 2, we were there for 3-3.5 hours. Many other guests had frustrated looks on their faces. I understand why. I requested a piece of chocolate cake for a bday and instead got a chunk of brownie. No bread, no champagne, no cake. Steaks and sides had to be ordered/paid separately. Nothing comes with a meal. Extremely loud even with no music. For a restaurant in the casino, you’d think they’d be better staffed especially on a weekend.

Chocolate cake and browny were good but its a bit pricey. The location and deco is fine. I have given it 3 as I believe the quality of rest of the dishes could be improved. The customer service also needs a bit of flick on the back side.

What a place! Awesome service, great wide selection of draft beers and delicious meats. I guess the price is OK for a place located right in the Gold Mile. Save some room for dessert and ask for the 23 (Jordan's tee number) layer chocolate cake... indulgent.
