Very scruffy MX-5’s for sale. Before you tell me they aren’t go and take a look at them… of course you are still charging premium prices. It must be “the people who make the difference” as it’s certainly not the quality of the cars you sell. Beware if you are buying without seeing, the current stock quality isn’t a one off or “awaiting preparation”.

I had been let down by a local Skoda dealer and, rather than giving up on buying a Skoda altogether, I decided to look elsewhere — and what a favour that other garage did me.
Joe was amazing to deal with from enquiry to completion. He had the patience of a saint, especially as I had lots of questions. He kept me informed throughout the process and helped with everything I asked about. There were no hidden extras and no attempts to add anything on.
Collecting the car was an absolute joy, and I’m already looking forward to buying future cars from them and returning when my services are due.
One thing though — if Mitchell’s has a spare Skoda keyring, I’ll happily give it a home. The built‑in trolley coin is such a clever little idea.

I was given a bouquet of beautiful flowers and I had the privilege of meeting Mile to CEO on the day i collected my car.
I would recommend this dealership to friends and family.
Thank you from Maggie

It was a pleasure to buy my Lexus here, they did great job with the service and MOT too.

I have been a customer of Mitchell Skoda for close to twenty years. In all that time I have found them to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Because I purchased vehicles from them and get my MOT, servicing and other repairs done by them I am able to take advantage of the free car wash that they do every Saturday. The staff who do this in all weather conditions are cheerful and efficient. Whilst my car is washed I am able to sit in the customer lounge drinking excellent complimentary and eating biscuits. Last Saturday two chocolate hearts were left on the front passenger seat. If you are waiting for work such as an MOT to be done and your appointment is an early morning time slot you can expect a complimentary bacon sandwich. I have never had an advisory disappear from an MOT. The company also does tremendous work in the community and supports an annual carol service in Chester Cathedral.

I have recently purchased my third car from Mitchell Skoda, and once again, I am thoroughly impressed!
The service was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I stepped into the showroom, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. They took the time to understand my needs and guided me to the perfect car that matched my requirements.
The car itself is fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The quality and performance have exceeded my expectations, and I feel confident that I made the right choice. The team's dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout the entire process, and I truly appreciate the effort put into making my experience a positive one.
Thank you for your outstanding service and for making my third car purchase with Mitchell Skoda a memorable one. I will undoubtedly continue to recommend your dealership to friends and family.

A company that promotes Christian values yet applies the behaviour of the devil.
If his was run by Catholic's, a full-time priest and confessions box would need to be installed . Christian values as detailed in a "Premier Christianity "article dated 25th June 2025 " by the owner, "we put people before profit" "we do things with integrity and care" and for " accountability" Utter rubbish from my experience. Perhaps the owner would like to respond to the following.
Why would a "colleague " called Tim knowingly take a £500 refundable payment ,which was specifically to be used to secure the test drive of a car, then without any agreement ,or knowledge to my wife and I , use this payment as a 'deposit' to place an order for the car on our behalf? Something that had not even been discussed let alone agreed to? Then, when red flags appeared and we asked for our money back he aggressively refused to pay this back. Money taken under false pretences and which, had this not been forcefully challenged by ourselves, would have been kept for 12 months to set against another car from the dealership???
All this came about because we dared to ask
Why, would advisories in an MOT carried out by the dealership in July 2025 disappear in an MOT that was carried out by the same dealership in January 2026 yet still clearly remain?.
An advisory, for example, of a sticking rear brake was clearly still present on the test drive?
A brake disc which was hot to touch on return from the test drive compared to the opposite side which was cold to touch?
A brake pad which was clearly worryingly low on the side of the problem compared to the pad on the opposite side which had more pad?
An excessive amount of liquid on the top surface of the engine and its poor state for a car with low mileage and full service history. Despite spending £1400 prepping the car for a test drive, which was made out had been done purly for us ?
Concerns raised on return from the test drivew and which despite assurances they would be fully looked into, 3 days later during a phone call, it became clear they had not been. The concerns were casually dismissed, brushed aside and basically laughed at.
"Do you expect me to go and question the mechanics" ???? Was one comment.
It later transpired that one issue was a simple sticking calliper and a cheap easy fix, yet ignored and dismissed by your colleague ? The attitude when I requested a refund was shocking and aggressive.
Your colleague new that I was suffering from a TIA /Stroke as well.
How do you ,as a devote Christian, view the shocking events above and believe that what I was subjected to aids my recovery?
As a " devote Christian" one assumes you welcome this open, frank and honest review as just a brief outline of events that took place? Does this meet your standards?
Do you truly value all customers views and experiences, as Jesus welcomed them?
How do you,now restore my trust ,my faith in you as a person ,as a business and all those who read this post.
Moral of this ,people please do not trust or believe anything a sales person says or tells you. They are on a commisson. They are driven to sell cars . Even ,in my experience , when we hadn't agreed to buy one. On no account pay a deposit to secure the test drive of a car. Pay any money over via a bank transfer. You lose all your rights. If this business truly puts" people before profit " they will pay the credit card fee they are charged and accept this form of payment or a debit card. The cars are at the top end of their market value as it is and they won't come down on price. Warranties are not worth the paper they are written on unless you check exactly what is covered. Once you drive off the forcourt you are on your own. What is not covered under warranty, which is a lot, they will not put right free of charge. They took £500 off me and I had to fight like hell to get it backThis was after the promise of the 14 day cooling off period ,the 30 day full money back guarantee Don't be fooled.
Here endeth my lesson
God be with you,you will certainly need him buying from this company .

I take my car for a free car wash most Saturday mornings, all staff welcome you with a smile and are very helpful, and its good to talk to other customers , whilst having a free coffee. The car cleaning staff are first class and my car is cleaned to a high standard.

I've had cars from Mitchell Motors for years, including sorting a car for my son this past month. Every time I deal with them you receive the best customer service experience, clear and regular communication, and have always felt great value for money.

In early January 2026 I contacted Mitchell’s regarding a 2022 MX5 RF. service was exceptionally good from both Justin and the Brand Manager, Iain. All questions were answered effectively and in detail.
However, due to geography, I negotiated a collection date three weeks out. Then I encountered some significant family issues, was unable to pay the deposit and another buyer was found. Their finance was not agreed and so the car became available again. I was then looking to collect on the same date - now 2 weeks away - and it was suddenly a problem. They were giving me only a week. Communication also slowed right down to the point where I was continually having to follow up.
Frankly, felt a little like I was being punished for some reason. For somebody that flies the Mazda flag by driving one now and countless others before it, I now throw Mitchell’s into the same bucket as some other Mazda dealerships.
Disappointing.

Today, we collected our new electric Skoda Enyaq. Wayne supported us from start to finish with the purchasing process and even sat in the car with us today and helped us set up the IT configurations etc. We have a disabled child and her needs outweighed the usual just looking at the design, engine and boot space etc. We needed to know that the car would meet all of our requirements and needs. Thank you Wayne for your thoughtfulness, great communication and helping us with the process. We definitely recommend Skoda (Mitchell Group) and 100% Wayne.

excellent from start to finish, offered pick-up at 11.00am and delivery back to Birkenhead at 3.00pm, useful video of vehicle inspection, clear options on work needed. Paul.the very efficient and friendly driver, offered very useful tutorial on how to use Airplay and was happy to answer all my dumb questions about technology. Well done Mitchells.

My karoq with 35000miles came up with error several times 'clutch overheating' take to garage. Phoned Mitchells was told 'yes sounds serious' we can book you in in 4 weeks! Really! First it needs a diagnostic check taking 5 minutes.
