I admit I was nervous at first to stay at an air bnb as it was my first time, especially with another male present but the communication before hand for about 3 weeks made it easier and comforting so that I could feel at ease. Loved my stay

Customer service is incompetent and does not resolve issues. Both I the host and my guest have been on the phone non-stop to get to the bottom of an error message. They say they fixed it and the problem still persists. Won't be using this app much longer.

We were hesitant to stray from the known behemoth that is AirBNB but had a smooth and satisfactory experience with this platform and would absolutely use it again. So great to have a community-specific app for home sharing.

Great host, amazing response tome. Super helpful navigating around and a great tiki bar. Amazing location near Balboa park and the gayborhood
My only regret is that we got so taken back by everything to do incl palm springs, blacks beach, nightlife etc we didn't have a chance to see a proper goodbye. Thank you Stewart and Jeff . Best to you!

Regarding the photos, listings sometimes include images of shared or surrounding areas to give a fuller sense of the property, but we understand how this could feel misleading if you believed those spaces were included in the private access — that is never the experience we want for our travelers. Concerning the refund, once a reservation is confirmed, the cancellation policy selected by the host or hotel applies, and as a small niche platform every blocked stay has a real impact since it is often impossible to rebook the dates, which is why these policies exist to protect hosts and hotels, and keep the platform running fairly for everyone. That said, misterb&b does not steal money from anyone — we have been supporting our LGBTQ+ community for over 10 years, and our goal is always transparency and fairness. We are sincerely sorry this situation left you feeling unheard, and we hope you can understand our position even if it’s not the outcome you expected, and that you might consider giving us another chance in the future.
