Purchased an item from them during a sale, afterwards it apparently went out of stock, I was never notified about this. When the rest of the order shipped they charged me for it anyways, I was able to get a hold of support eventually to get the refund issued, but they are very unresponsive and never gave me any communication to how the item (that was in stock when I purchased it) became out of stock nor why I was never contacted. Particularly annoying a I was getting other related content for that game, which did ship, that I no longer want/need. Have used them for a while but they communication has gone significantly downhill, will steer clear from now now.
False inventory, no customer support
Ordered Kickstarter item that is longer out of print but showed great price and in stock. Order label assigned but item never shipped. Customer Service tells me to wait longer knowing this item is probably not in stock and will never ship. Customer service will not respond to second request for refund even though item is still showing not shipped 2 weeks after label printed. They're clearly falsely claiming items are in stock.

Great customer service
I was working really hard to find a gift for my husband this holiday season. It was hard to locate, and when I did, Miniature Market was the only place I could find it. Two days before Christmas at that! Knowing we would be traveling some for the holidays, I reached out to customer service to see if they could let me know the shipping date in order that I might send the gift forward to where we were visiting family. Customer service went above and beyond to make sure that my order was shipped the same day, and provided me with a tracking number within 20 minutes of my order.

No idea how this has so many negative reviews. Not only are the prices the best you’ll find on most new board games, the shipping is crazy fast (to the US, can only speak to there since that’s where I live) and their games are packed very nicely. I was afraid of dents in the box as I’m a nitpicker when it comes to my collection, but the 3 board games of differing sizes were all packed very snugly in a high quality bubble wrap that fit every box perfectly. Will definitely be ordering all of my board games from Miniature Market from now on.

Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from, probably before they switched warehouses. These guys have been on the market for more than 20 years, they just don't pay Trustpilot for reviews. They actually have over 36,000 reviews on Reviews.io, which are from verified buyers only, with a 4.86 rating. They're my #1 choice for ordering board games online and I've never had a single issue.

Good experience. Placed an order on Dec 1 and got it today… not Amazon speed but that’s OK.
I also sent them an email inquiring about the ETA of my order and they responded quickly and in a friendly tone.
Wonderful service

Wonderful retailer
Wonderful retailer, awesome prices, and even better- truly great, friendly and fair customer service. I have been a customer of theirs for over 6 years now, and have never been disappointed. I do not live in the US, and despite that fact, the prices are still really good, even when you include international shipping. I highly recommend you order from their website, you won't be disappointed (the negative reviews on here are very surprising, to the point of being somewhat suspect).
All this is true for international shoppers.
If you live in the US, I don't see how you could buy your games anywhere else.

Ignore all the negative remarks! I don’t know why there are bad comments. Maybe there were problems during Covid but most companies had issues during that time. I took a chance and ordered a few games. I received them within 2 days! Yes 2 days!!! Perfect condition. Still wrapped. Order from this company. I’m super impressed. Couldn’t find the games anywhere cheaper.
Customer service run by ghosts
it's been almost three weeks since buying from them online and no word from them despite having emailed them 4 times and called 8 leaving messages that were just wanting verification that the order was going to be processed and some Idea when I could expect it. I'm not even in a rush to get it, I just want to know it is in the works. Their message says they will respond in the order messages are received which means they are at least two weeks behind. If you are that busy hire some help for customer service. This is hurting your reputation. If I'd been smart enough to read your reviews I certainly wouldn't have taken the risk.
EDIT: I got a response the day after I wrote this with a tracking number and the package came the next day. Tracking notification is automated but not there. Changed from one star to three.
Failure to Deliver
Ordered an item from their Holiday sale. It shipped promptly, but when I received it, it was the wrong item. After days and days of leaving phone messages and emails (which were never returned), I finally reached someone via chat. They told me my item was now sold out and they could only issue me a refund. Honestly, it seemed like they didn't even care. This is not the forst time I have had problems with them and struggled to get customer support. I won't order from them any more.

Worst customer support I have ever dealt with. CS person didn't read the ticket, didn't provide any value advice and just an over all poor experience. Don't purchase anything outside the US or be prepared to pay double duty.

customer service is terrible. Emailed customer service to cancel a pre-order. After getting an automated response waited a week and heard nothing from them. Took two days to get through by phone. Finally had my order cancelled and almost a week later still have not had my refund applied (PayPal) which other retailers do instantly. Called again and customer serve lines are still busy. Customer service here is a misnomer. A year ago this company was much better. Not sure what happened.
