I am very fussy about my wigs. I have ordered and ended up sending back two human hair wigs - both unworn - and I had great service from the Mimo team. Great value too.

I was a little nervous, having read some of the reviews on here, but thought I would order anyway, My experience was very good and I will have no hesitation in ordering from Mimo again. I ordered a clearance wig on Thursday, it arrived on Monday, in its box, beautifully wrapped in a large satin scarf. The wig is exactly as described and perfect, with instructions on the care and how to keep it looking beautiful, and the scarf is much appreciated, especially with winter coming along. Thank you, I will definitely use Mimo again when I order my next wig
I’m very saddened to have to leave this review. I have been a mini client for 6 years and this is the first time I’ve had this issue. My husband ordered my two units as an anniversary gift this year. They arrived and both have factory faults one is full of broken hairs and the other has a lace fault, feels greasy on the lengths and smells like is been worn. I emailed the company several times requesting assistance and have heard nothing. I even set a website review stating my upset and still nothing. I have no triggered a return with the payment company that was used and am sending both units back.
Due to this terrible customer care I won’t be using this company again. Which is such a shame as this was an amazing company with second to none customer care. However nearly £400 including nearly £11 for delivery is a lot of money for units that cannot be worn.

I have bought a number of wigs from here, only had problem with one before which was a clearance purchase that had frayed lace on receipt. The latest one I bought for a very special occasion was not the best wig quality I've bought, again with damaged front lace.
Paid for a full price hand tied, received a wefted cap so this was a replacement for the error. So in effect not received the wig, or the quality I ordered. I accepted a clearance wig being sent as it was for a special occasion in the next few days. Although they said to keep the wrong one sent this replacement arrived with a split in the lace front. I contacted Mimo but they state that this is normal for Belle Tress wigs and to complain to Belle Tress. The Belle Tress owner, Julie Minn, doesn't agree that this is normal and they have multiple quality checks at Belle Tress this wouldn't pass. The split was there straight out of the box, not even tried on. I didn't cause it. I don't believe it's normal, especially compared to the photos Julie Minn sent me as to what the front lace should be like. So this is my last purchase with this company
Note added after Mimo response. There wasn't a problem with the "free wig" that you originally sent wrong. The lace on the replacement hand tied wig had a rip when received, which was sent from clearance and photos have been sent to show this. This is down to your quality control not a tear caused by me. !! Which is what you insinuate !!@

I have been buying my wigs from Michelle for over two years now (wig buyer for 20 years) and I ABSOLUTELY cannot fault the service. Always beautifully wrapped in a satin scarf…such a bonus if you have hair loss (if you know, you know!). If you do research on which particular brand/colour you prefer there really is no comparison on pricing when it comes to Mimo! Will not buy from anywhere else. Thank you Michelle 😊💕x
MIMO Wigs make you feel special and that they really care about you. When my wig arrived it was wrapped so beautifully with a big purple silk scarf tied in a bow! Michelle puts inside the box all the instructions you need regarding how to care for the wig with extra helpful hints and tips as she has alopecia herself she understands ,there was also a discount card if I wanted to make another purchase ( I did that same day ) I bought Wanderlust by Belletress from Michelle , such a beautiful wig, i got it from her website at a discount price and it is the nicest wig I have ever bought it arrived very quickly indeed even though i ordered during the Christmas period I highly recommend MIMO Wigs thank you Michelle
Terrible customer service. Bought clearance wig that looked like it had been worn. Tried to return it and they wouldn’t accept delivery. Not transparent about VAT at checkout like other wig retailers. Avoid.

Waited the expected 10 working days for delivery but nothing arrived so I emailed them when could I expect my delivery. Got a reply from them saying unfortunately the item was now not available until June 2023!! Did receive a refund but only after I’D contacted THEM. I think it should have been them contacting ME! Very dissatisfied, they should not have taken/kept my money.
There is no returns...no customer service....My wig is too dark....i offered to purchase a more expensive one..for exchange....but have been ignored.....This is not the place to buy wigs if you want customer service...big mistake coming here....i have not even tried the wig on....the wig is fine but the colour is too dark.....they wont even exchange.....So spent my money on something i can not wear.....
This company price match and offer discounts so I use them to purchase wigs. Unfortunately the customer service is shocking. They have a lot of terms and conditions on their website that you have to agree to when you purchase from them but basically they like to take your money and do nothing for weeks. Meanwhile your funds are tied up. As a necessity wig wearer I find this so very upsetting and annoying. It appears to me that they do not have much stock, they order everything in from abroad. This is where the 10 day wait comes in and if you order something that is out of stock they do not tell you. The average price of a synthetic wig is £100 -£200 you are also required to pay a high postage fee. Even if you use a credit card you end up having to pay for wigs that you haven't received. You cannot contact the company by telephone, they have an online contact form and again you have to agree to their terms and conditions which means that they may not respond if they are "busy". Overall I would not recommend this firm if you need to buy wigs.
I placed an order with Mimo wigs almost 3 weeks ago and I have received no order update since. I was told that if my order was to be delayed by more than 10 working days then I would be made aware of this but I've not heard a word from the company, despite emailing them at the end of last week requesting an update on my order. A disappointing experience so far.
Update: I eventually heard back from the company after numerous emails and requested a full refund. I received the refund promptly.
Very let down by this company on my first purchase of a wig online and very much out of pocket. I ordered lady latte by belletress in the clearance section what I believed in colour brown sugar sweet cream. Because this was in the clearance section in honey with chsi latte the option didn't go through for the colour I wanted and when I realised the wrong colour was ordered and I contacted them it was already shipped. The wig has since arrived and their response was WE TAKE NO RETURNS. Now I fully understand for health and safety that worn or tried on wigs wouldn't be suitable fora refund but in this case THE WIG HASNT EVEN BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE BOX. I FEEL THIS IS VERY UNFAIR AND OVER THE TOP regarding this issue I am stuck with a colour that doesn't suit me and out of pocket. The response I got from Mimowigs is u made a mistake pressed the wrong colour and no returns. DEVASTATED!!
