Lied to me saying I had an outstanding…

Lied to me saying I had an outstanding balance from a previous program - which I did not! They tried to have me sign a contract for an outrageous amount. I told them no, and they shut me down and escalated my case to a higher official who then told me the amount would be written off - ha- (lie)and proceeded with an itemized ledger. I thought it was very deceptive for them of offer me a 20% discount on a balance I did not owe. Once they wrote it off, I was not eligible for the discount anymore. THAT'S WRONG. How desperate is this school to give you a degree that's not recognized?
