Haven't used it much since it was bought out by Kogan, but finding it ridiculous that I didn't receive a purchase confirmation email, and that I have to fill out a form just to receive a copy of my invoice
My credit card was compromised by Mighty Ape. I never bought anything for a while and my bank canceled my visa card as the fraud team were alerted by a purchase via Mighty Ape

My payment for an item said it failed so I did it again and then it ended up putting through 2 transactions and sending me 2 of the items. They wouldn't let me return the extra item, they wouldn't refund me for it and it cost around $200 per item. Now im stuck with the extra item and I had to pay just over $400 for it. Customer service took 2 weeks to get back in touch with me, they said no failed payment on their end that they could see and to take it up with the supplier. The supplier put it back on Mighty Ape. So much wasted time, shit service, no help. I didn't even open the 2nd item it is still wrapped up same as when it was wrongly delivered to me. Now I have to try and sell it to make back some of my mo ey but it will be at a loss. Cheers Mighty Ape, that's the last product I buy from you pricks.

I think the so called 30,000 good reviews are a lie this company is a 3rd party company selling the same items for different prices from small businesses that you can buy directly from and some you can't and selling refurbished phones without saying they're refurbished and my latest and last purchase have not received a tracking number for. if you want kiwi owned and good prices use kiwibuy. Mighty ape is a shark company.

Mighty Ape is now a giant rip off, everything i used to buy from Mighty Ape now has shipping attached so im paying $10 every time i buy my things monthly this is WITH primate which has actually gone up $20 a year to $89. So to save $2 on a box of gloves i buy monthly the $89 is not worth it. I also buy a lot of other stuff but sadly i have just canceled my membership if im paying full price shipping anyway i may as well buy from elsewhere as the prices are not hat great to begin with! Mighty Ape used to be great now its just a nickel and dime at every turn.
Only picked my item because it was advertised as it would be delivered by 8pm I wrote to them no response payed extra for it to be delivered by 8pm and as soon as id payed it was 3 to 4 day pathic as I would of just gone to kmart waste of time
Talk about drag it out had a treadmill as a gift broke after 5 months trying to get it fixed or replaced is turned into a nightmare never again will we buy from weak ape You already have confirmation from the person who purchased it this has gone back in fourth for more than 2 weeks you have the error code and your still not doing anything.

Easy online shopping experience. Very quick delivery and plenty of progress notification. Well done.
I don't really blame mightyape for this. I got a 32' kogan tv, from them. Its my second one. The first one I got from kogan. The quality control is so bad. Both had scratched screens. I'm not even going to bother sending this one back. It wasn't worth the money even. It feels like a cursed tv.

Delivery quick but return policy is absolute rubbish and you can only talk via online chat. You are supposed to be able to see if the product is going to be what it is assess its quality without opening the box. Once opened you are out of luck for any chance of a return as it is classed as "changing your mind" not that the product is not what you were expecting. Not impressed at all.

Orginisations that invite suppliers on to their web sites and then refuse to help when the service goes bad need to realise that prople dont see the third party suppler as the entity they bought off.
Product delivery two weeks late and counting, last act the 3rd party got the address wrong. No help from mighty ape only a "We will get the supplier to message you in 2 working days."
NOT GOOD ENOUGH
This company is not trustworthy. I’ve used them a couple of times, but now they are sub contracting to Grabstore which is a thoroughly disreputable company. I bought a weighted blanket from them, which was advertised as a very nice blanket. It arrived made of cheap material and clearly substandard manufacturing. It looked nothing like the advertised product. When I asked for a refund there was a bunch of mucking around to return it and I was handed off to a different company entirely to deal with the refund. Awful.
Used to actually meet their own standards. If they said dispatch by X, delivered by Y, you could trust it. Now they’ll almost never ship an order on the same or next day, even though the order status will say as much. It will literally be multiple days past the “delivered by” date specified in your orders tab, and the order still won’t have shipped. Terrible service since they were bought out by Kogan, and the website usability has drastically deteriorated since the redesign. Overall a brand to be avoided where possible now.
I fact if I could do less than 1 star I would.
Mighty now have no published phone number. If all goes smoothly then I'm sure you will be satisfied, HOWEVER, when something gores wrong you will find them unresponsive to your queries or concerns. They will continually send you requests to say how happy you are theith their service, but they will not actually deliver any.
And if your product happens to be being dlivered from an off-shore location the best they can do is send your concern on to that outfit. You didnt seal with the offshore deliverer, so again, you find inadequate responses. In my case I'm over $1,000 out of pocket, and have no product. I have had a NZ Customs demand for GST. Mighty APes webstite states their advertised price is all you will pay, no extras.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
I bought a product on Mighty Ape as they advertised next day delivery. That was 5 days ago and the product has still not been delivered even though they are advertising same day delivery on this product now.
Not impressed at all as I needed the product by yesterday, definitely false advertising.

Terrible experience. Purchased item on 19 March. The item was advertised as estimated delivery on 1 April but it is now 1 May and the item is not even delivered yet!! Misleading advertisement on delivery times I am still waiting for customer service response. I will never buy from Mighty Ape again. They are not reliable at all!!!!

Ordered a pot set. Order too far away so canceled. No refund. Just a credit. Asked for a refund no response. Trying to order something else and no where to apply my credit on the order!! So frustrating!! Will not be buying from Mighty Ape again.

Truly disgusting service! I preordered an item through Mighty Ape. Days after the release date of the item and it not being shipped yet, I contacted support to be told the item had been "delayed from the supplier" (despite all other stores in the country receiving stock).
Only a couple hours after this, I received an email saying my order had been cancelled and I would be refunded because they "oversold" the product. Which is disgusting practice. If I had been told before the product released I may have been able to track it down and buy it elsewhere, but it was a popular item and it was sold out NZ-wide by the time this all happened, so I missed out entirely because of Mighty Ape and their terrible practice. I am incredibly disappointed.

Pretty straight forward process when ordering online. I've never had an issue purchasing products on this website. Great delivery service as well.

One of the top most frustrating and disappointing customer experiences of my past 25 years of my life! I ordered a robux gift card for a boy who had a birthday. The website mentioned that it will be instantly delivered to my email. It never arrived even on the day after his birthday. Ruined it. There is no way to ring the customer service. They don't even respond to my several messages left on their chat box. I cannot believe their insensitivity and escapism. They don't even offer any assistance or support to help you deal with this issue and no reparations either. I can submit the chat history to show how they deal with such issues, highly disappointing and cortisol raising experience.
