I have just purchased a used Canon rf100-500 lens from Mifsuds. The whole experience dealing with this firm was first class. Not only was the lens in mint condition as advertised but it was a competitive price. I had excellent communication with Matt at Mifsuds both on the phone and email. He always replied to all questions immediately and the lens was dispatched and arrived the next day. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. This is clearly a great firm to deal with I will certainly recommend them and will be back to check them out for any future purchases.

On Tuesday 18 February I had the pleasure of buying what I now regard as the Rolls Royce of lenses - a used Canon 17-40mm L USM lens from Matthew Mifsud. To say I am delighted is an understatement; everything about the lens is of top quality - smooth, silent and with superb glass, probably the best lens I have ever bought. All I need now is the weather to change! I must add a word about the quality of customer service. I can only say that it was, and always has been, exemplary in every way. I purchased a used mint- condition OM System OM1 Mk2 body. Everything has been great. I emailed them to request that the camera could be delivered on a specific day. Mathew arranged to deliver by Royal Mail special delivery to arrive on the day I specified.
Camera was in absolutely top condition, looked unused. It works perfectly.
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Due to a change in my abilities through a medical condition I needed to downsize and shift a lot of gear. Matthew was on hand to help and answered all my emails promptly and with no nonsense advice. He graciously offered some advice on selling lenses which I took. With the trade in of my gear it was hassle free and painless. With such a specialised market for used gear he explained things along the way in depth with no pressure. I’ve been a customer of this family business for over 20 years and happy to recommend them time and again.

I decided to use them over other more mainstream used camera outlets after seeing that its a family run business and seeing many good reviews.
This was an very good decision, when the lens arrived it seemed to have some calibration issues.
I emailed them and Matthew replied offering to send me a Sigma docking station to see if the issue gets resolved and it was. He even let me keep it in good faith.

A few months later the same lens developed an error one message and Matthew again came through and sent it off to Sigma for repairs free of charge under their mifsuds three month warranty for used goods.

I couldn't have asked for better service, very polite and helpful.

Will definitely be using again.

This is an incredible shop for any enthusiastic photographer. They are brilliantly welcoming and friendly and hugely generous with their time and their wisdom! The amount of cameras, lenses etc is amazing. Five stars doesn't feel like enough :)

What an amazing find, a proper camera shop with real people who not only know their stuff but are happy to take all the time one could need to ensure you leave with what you actually need rather than what you think you might need, even if it means you don't spend as much as you'd expected.

I placed an on-line order on a Sunday night for a used flash meter, I had an email on Monday morning confirming the order and the meter was delivered on Wednesday. The meter was securely packaged and is in excellent working condition, exactly as described. Excellent service!

After a long break from photography I am looking to buy a camera. They couldn't have been more helpful. Very knowledgeable and gave excellent advice.
They have a huge stock of digital and film cameras and I don't think I have ever seen so many medium format cameras in one place.

I bought a Nikon F90X film camera, sight-unseen, mail-order, from Mifsuds. It was described by them as being in good condition. The camera arrived a couple of days later, and bearing in mind this is a 30-year-old model, it was in immaculate condition and fully functional. Communications were good - I was informed by email when the package had shipped. I would definitely buy from them again based on this experience.

I purchased a second hand Nikon lens from Mifsuds, and I'm very pleased with condition which was as described. It was posted and received in very good time with Mifsuds keeping me updated all the way. I will be no doubt be shopping again with Misfuds in the future. Highly recommended.
