Engineer on time, polite and helpful. He did the work as in the error code. Unfortunately, two weeks on, the machine still sometimes leaves washing wet; something 'drain and spin' does not rectify... See more

Miele engineers came to fix my dishwasher and they were very efficient!

Generally happy with the service I received. Second appointment was required because the engineer couldn’t left the dishwasher out by myself.
So had to wait for 3 days for another appointment.
Gave all the information at the time of booking, felt a second engineer should have been included in the booking.

The technician arrived as expected. He told me that what appeared to me to be a fault was “as designed”. It would have been helpful and less trouble if having to press the on/off button numerous (random number of) times had been documented somewhere!
Otherwise, happy with the fact that the machine was given a once-over and the software brought up to date.

Their service is terrible! They charged me for two orders but only sent one item. I've been trying to explain this for seven weeks, and they still don't get it. They keep ignoring the two invoice numbers I've given them countless times. It's a disgusting service; I have to clean up their mess. They just try to take your money! AVOID.

I loved Miele having used them for most of my life sadly my problem started when my loved washing machine stopped working the engineer stated my machine needed to be changed between the insurance company & Miele became a stressful saga. Finally I get a washing machine WEB365 WCS but was not working from the start less than 1 yr old, 6 engineers & approximately 30 calls later, kitchen water damage, not draining water from clothes after each wash , not registering which wash to use.machine deemed hazardous to use.
I was lucky to have the 1st and last engineer was the same he was very good , 2 of the other engineers where not good at there job. On my phoning to ask what to do with this machine on the 18th of June was told to wait for a phone call from the escalation department that call never came an email regarding Discover Remote Assist I called them finally in July received a phone call but did not want the same machine, chose another one Miele agreed then saga started again Michael called on the 10th July to say my chosen machine is not in stock today the after care assistance did not know much of my situation making me having to explain over and over again after all these phone calls approx 3hrs on the phone I’m at square one, even when they where delivering the machine they refused to take away the faulty washing machine Miele made a mistake they conceded after me phoning them, I’m shocked at terrible disappointing dismissal service.yet again waiting for escalation team to call me.
Thank you for a response Miele I still had to pay an additional £150 towards this nightmare so that I don’t have the same washing machine again with all the problems caused I do think that is unacceptable.

Tried to book an engineer for my Miele washing machine. Gone is the quick local response - instead a contact centre in the Philippines. Polite young man, heavy accent difficult to understand with not much of a clue about the process or prices. I knew more than he did. The earliest appointment was 11th August - an 8 day wait with a broken machine!
We have always bought Miele appliances but no more. They have lost the plot on customer service. Better and cheaper to buy cheap machines and replace them when they go wrong. Very sad that they can’t have someone knowledgeable and local on the end of the phone

As a nursing university student working a part-time job on top of a full-time course, my time is incredibly limited and my need for clean, sanitary uniforms is non-negotiable. Miele’s appWash service has utterly failed on every level.
The machines frequently refuse to connect to the app. On the rare occasions they do connect, they are almost always broken.
The washing machines constantly show drainage errors, and the dryers regularly stop working, claiming the lint filters need cleaning—even though I meticulously clean them myself before every single cycle.
This is not a one-off issue; it is a systemic failure of their equipment and digital service.Being unable to wash my clothes is unsanitary and directly impacts my professional reputation on placement.
This service has cost me a significant amount of money, wasted hours of my limited time, and caused immense, unnecessary stress. Miele is happy to take student money but completely fails to provide a usable, basic utility. This is completely unacceptable.

Miele attended a washing machine breakdown under warranty. Their engineer said this was not repairable as the drum and sensor had packed and was uneconomical to fix. Miele than asked us for a £268 call-out charge, which was under a separate warranty cover. We then reluctantly took a replacement Miele machine which they couldn’t connect through their sub-contracted service Axle Ltd (?). We spent £108 to have an external engineer and the NEW Miele washing machine broke fine after the second wash 🙁. We called Miele under the warranty of the new machine and they refused to fix it 🤷🏻♂️. Their Level 3 consultant, Rafael (?) who is not sincere or accurate with his responses and a little inexperienced. Think very hard if you want a Miele product. I would NEVER go for a Miele product again after using for last 2 decades.

I have never experienced a company with worse service. I purchased a washing machine direct from Miele less than a year ago. At the time, the delivery service they provided was abysmal - they had to come twice as they damaged the first machine while installing it so had to come back to install a second one, they then trod dogs faeces up and down my hallway and damaged the wooden floor by scraping the machine along it. I received compensation for this at the time, and so drew a line under it, believing it to be a one-off bad experience.
A month ago, during a cycle spin, the drum inside the 10 month old washing machine came away from the body of the machine, making a very loud and alarming banging sound. We called Miele out immediately. Obviously this involves waiting in all day for their scheduled visit. The first technician didn't have the correct spare parts to fix the machine, so we had to reschedule (another day waiting in). The second technician didn't turn up during his designated slot and I had no contact from Miele to say why or when he would come. When I rang customer services they said he was in a 'meeting' and I would have to wait for another 3-4 hours. When he finally arrived, he didn't have the correct spare parts either and he tore the lino flooring beneath the machine while pulling it out of the wall. He decided to write-off the machine saying it was economically unrepairable and left it in our house with a sticker on it.
Since then I have had zero update from Miele. I have rung and emailed multiple times but I come up against a brick wall every time - polite but totally powerless customer service representatives saying my complaint is 'in progress'. I have now been waiting weeks, having to visit and pay a laundrette to wash my clothes, and appear to be getting nowhere with Miele despite my machine being under warranty.
I will never buy from Miele again. Before the episode with this machine, I had a Miele washing machine that lasted 25 years which is why I bought from Miele again, but my experience with this latest machine has been so awful that I believe Miele is no longer what it was. As a premium brand, their products are expensive. I would expect a very good service as a result but it has been atrocious. If you are considering purchasing from them, honestly DON'T! Go elsewhere. Other brands (Bosch, Siemens) would surely be better...
PS this is the first public review I have ever left about any service. Normally I avoid this sort of thing but feel compelled to as getting nowhere with Miele.
I was asking the Miele agent how to remove the vegetable hydration drawer for cleaning. I had used ChatGPT and had followed every suggestion. The agent referred me to the tech team but I have received no reply

Very easy process from start to finish
I’d expect nothing less from Miele

The engineer who attended was very attentive and carried out the work in a professional manner. A credit to your organisation.
