Stay away from this company.
I would not recomend this company at all,my husband ordered and payed for a light for my sons bedroom over 2 weeks ago and got an email saying this item is out of stock until the 18th could we wait my husband said yes .then on the 18th my husband emailed asking do they have the light yet yes they said it's back in stock.we will get one sent to you.,Today we get an email saying we have refunded your money no explanation no sorry .underneath my review jamie responded he would like me to ring him to sort this out which I did but he couldn't resolve it as they dont have the light which he sold me as stated above they false advertise things they dont have and lie to people stay away people you wont recieve your goods .edit : I was offered a light in April seriously we are in January once again jamie telling lies I need the light now for my sons room not in April .

Let me explain what has happened. Because the transaction was made on 05/01/2020 and there is a backorder (waiting time for the light fitting from Searchlight) - 17 days have elapsed. So as part of PayPal's Buyer Protection policy - you have been automatically refunded the amount in full. This is out of our hands unfortunately and exists to protect you.
Should you wish to buy the light again, we can enquire with Searchlight about their next available "in stock" date and would be happy to assist in this. Regretfully, it boils down to us not being able to stock all light fittings from Searchlight's catalogue.

Ceiling fan happiness.
Ordered a ceiling fan back in February, arrived all ok and installed in March. Didn't need to use it much until the hot weather arrived and unfortunately it developed a fault with the speed control. Issue was resolved perfectly with customer services with a replacement unit sent out. Well tested over the Bank Holiday weekend! All working perfectly, very happy with the service from Midshires Electrical, will happily use them again.

Not the quality expected - But great customer service
I have amended my rating based on the prompt after-sales service I received after my complaint.
It great to know that they take feedback seriously and they refunded my additional postage and packaging costs - thank you
Initial review:
The product (80mm Desk Power Grommet with 3 USB Ports) looks good installed but the build quality was not what was expected from an £80 socket (something loose within the sealed unit).
I was also disappointed with the very limited technical details on the website, particularly regarding the connector. I thought the connector would be male (like the one I was replacing) the picture supplied looked like it. It wasn't so had to place a separate order for the power cord and incurring additional postage costs (and hassle).

Frustrating to deal with....
First order for ceiling fan wall Controllers was cancelled by Midshires Electrical as they said they had stated the wrong price on their website. I reordered last Saturday (6 days ago) at the new inflated price and still awaiting delivery or any further information. Very frustrating overall. Update 17May - order has been received and no issues

Waited a whole 2 weeks to get my order
Waited a whole 2 weeks to get my order, arrived in two seperate deliveries. First delivery arrived with the box crushed, (very poorly packaged) contents was in tacked but scratched. Spoke to Midshires electrical not helpful at all.
Asked to put complaint in writing, not heard from them and don't expect to. Will not be ordering from them again.

Firstly, Your parcel was delivered on Thursday 2nd May 2019 at 9:37 and it was signed for. Please confirm receipt as the item has a proof of delivery.
This was a Rolec manufactured product. On all Rolec product pages it states "delivery - 7 - 14 working days" because they manufacture to order. I am sorry about this but we cannot influence the manufacture time of our suppliers.
