Be careful where you buy.

I want to add that I think there needs to be a distinction between the actual Microsoft Store and the Microsoft Keys Store, which sells you Microsoft products at deeply discounted prices. If you buy from Microsoft Keys you are very likely to encounter problems, which was my experience.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! This company is definitely a scam company!! The telephone number on the website for customer service is a number answered by a foreign country saying I have won a Walmart gift card. I said I needed help and was told the customer service number must have been changed. I have sent multiple emails but never received any response. I lost $39.99 to this place...lesson learned...but what bothers me is do they have the ability to retain my credit card information?

I decided to buy Xbox series X and 3…

I decided to buy Xbox series X and 3 month ultimate game pass from the Microsoft store. I ordered it on Thursday Feb 2 at around 9:55pm and I had my products on February 8. I couldn’t ask for better customer service. They were great. I had Jesse who helped me order over the phone and Noelyn who helped keep me updated on my order. My xbox arrived well packaged and works great. I really am enjoying it. Buy directly from the Microsoft Store 😀

I had to give one star to start my review, even they do not deserve any star. Microsoft such a big name do not have staff to talk to.
I bought a lap top for over £1500. I noticed my address was wrong and I wanted to correct that but there was no help. I wanted to change the colour of the laptop but no help. Eventually, I opted for the laptop to be deliverded to my nearest PICK UP POINT. The laptop was sent by DPD it did not arrive on the day because of some issues but the next day. Land line phone call cost £6. Why should any one would wish to buy extended Warrenty when there is NO after sale service. It is better to buy from a reputable store at a bit higher price where you not only get 5 star service. No quible return or exchange. Excelllent repair service and buy now pay later. Think before you buy direct from microsoft.

Disgusting customer service. Refusing refund despite being sent evidence to show game could not be installed or played. Also sent evidence of incorrect compatibility information for the expansion pack

Purchased a “Gift” game download on Xbox for family member on Christmas Day. This download included a game and an expansion pack for the game. The expansion pack clearly stated it is compatible with Xbox One. However when the game was attempted to be downloaded there was an error message that the game was not compatible with Xbox One S, only with the Series S or Series X. The game add on cannot be used without the game so the game and add on pack are unusable. They did not download or install.

Contacted Microsoft support by phone within days, who advised request a refund online. Followed process. Refund refused , they stated game had been redeemed and used! Sent photos and screenshots to prove this was not the case. Refused again. Rang them again. Spoke to someone who put me on hold - waited an hour, then they ended call!

Rang and emailed again asking why they think game has been played etc. Refused to disclose anything and refused refund again.

Emailed a complaint - nothing heard since.

So they have taken my £39.99 for a Christmas gift that cannot be used or downloaded and simply refuse any refund and will not deal with my compliant.
Disgusting customer service from a major company.

awful all round

for years they have my name wrong on my account. I have tried several times to change it and yet it remains the same wrong name. It fails to send me the email verification that it decides I need to download an app. The app store doesn't show the app I am looking for despite searching by the letter. It has entangled onedrive into how my computer operates without ever consulting me, now I can't get rid of it or act without it. It is full and demands I pay for more space, I never ever wanted to use it to begin with. This feels like a trap and there is no clear way out. I hate microsoft with a passion, just another useless mega corporation that is interested in nothing but pulling money out of your pockets.

Beware of unexpected automatic renewal

I bought an access key for one year of Microsoft 365 Family at the end of 2021. I was asked for a credit card number when I activated it. Back end of 2022, I was autorenewed (for more than I could have got an annual subscription elsewhere, which I had intended to do.) I had no idea I was on autorenewal, and also for the first time I can recall, I was autorenewed with absolutely no warning, nor did I get a receipt. First I knew it appeared on my credit card bill. To me, this is almost a fraud. Just as well I have enough money in the bank to pay unexpected charges. Don't give them your credit card number!!!

Microsoft surface pro was always a bit…

Microsoft surface pro was always a bit rubbish, very slow and not worth the money. They did a software upgrade and now the pro is dead! Funny that, tech company does an upgrade and all of a sudden your tech doesn’t work and you have to buy another…well I won’t be buying Microsoft again.

Simply put Microsoft is down the pop 🚽 I’ve been trying to get help now for almost a month to no avail😤
I’m 75 years old they send messages telling to do certain things then when you try it’s sends you in cycles again and again, wrote email to addresses given but days later saying unable to deliver 🤬🤬🤬 madness, why can’t I get in touch with them can’t even get to outlook
Small wonder so many bad reviews 👎

Microsoft Store burger UPS for delivery no good

UPS is just swindel. also proven to be swindel by danish national TV. UPS fake that they have tried to deliver at the address and leave it at the pickup point instead. We just experience the same we were right next to our frontdoor at the faked time of delivery but no UPS. So today I had to drive to the pickup point to get my packaged. I will ask you next time if you still use UPS I will find a different place to buy my things

Ordered a game for Christmas in early Nov and have still not received it!! I reported it twice in an online chat and was told It would be resolved. I have still not been given a refund or the game!! Very very poor customer service! Will not deal with them again. I gave a one star because that was the least I could give

Shockingly bad

Wouldn't recommend buying from them. UPS lost my new Xbox, won't immediately refund or replace. Has been referred to another department and could take 14 days. Totally useless and no customer service - buy from a high Street store.

Total lack of customer service

My kids bought me a copy of a game for Christmas. I attempted to redeem the product key they gave me, but trouble with the web site led me to try eith my phone. Alas, that seems to have left Microsoft with the idea I already received the game, which I did not.

I have spent several hours on the phone and e-mail trying to resolve this, but can get nowhere. Since December 27 I have written twice to the e-mail address given me during this process, but have not received any substantive reply.

Customer Care non-existent, totally stressful experience

I bought a game for my sons birthday 29/10/22 & made the mistake of redeeming it. I have been on the phone and on email ever since to try and sort it out, I wasted 58 minutes today on the phone only then to be cut off. I have found the experience very stressful and have wasted hours trying to get my money back but to no avail. I totally agree that this is form of theft as they clearly rely on you getting so stressed to carry on with the complaint that you give up. ADVICE: DON'T TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE!!

Really like the app!

I really like the way how is everything designed in the app. The app itself looks great! Never experienced any problems with installing or using the applications from the store, everything is downloading quickly and the way it should be!

Gifted a game via store, bad idea!

Gifted a game via store to a friend. They took my money no problem, recipient unable to redeem the gift. Support have openly admitted the problem is their side and quote "their higher support team is investigating" however, no offer of compensation, the delay means the recipient wont get the gift before christmas despite being a digital product that should be quote "instantly available". I call this theft, i work in IT and there is nothing stopping microsoft from simply adding the gift to the recipients account manually and preventing this bad review days ago. Support said they would update after 24 hours however i had to contact them days later.
