I didn't get a call as stated in a response from my first email. When I sent a follow-up email I got a response giving me 2 options for replacement of my device. The first was to return defective device and once received I'd get a new one or the second option was to post a review here and keep the defective device send a screen shot of the review and a new device would be sent. Once I receive the new device I'll be happy to change my review to 5 stars.

Update: I did receive my replacement as promised and it charged up as it should have!

I've been using the Michael Todd Beauty Sonicsmooth Pro+ Dermaplane for weeks and honestly, I can't believe the difference! 😍

This facial dermaplaning system leaves my skin incredibly soft, clean and lint-free from the first use. You can see how all that layer of dead cells and "peach fuzz" that made the makeup not look good goes away.

What I like the most is the integrated LED light - it seems like a minor detail, but it makes ALL the difference. You can see every corner of your face effortlessly, so you don't leave any hair. In addition, it has several speeds, ideal if you have sensitive skin like me.

After using it, my creams and serums absorb better, and the makeup looks much more even, without texture or dry areas. 💫

The design is comfortable, ergonomic and feels professional quality. And the replacement blades come with protection, so there is no risk of cuts. I charge it once and it lasts several sessions.

On purchasing this product in January, I did hesitate first because the shipping was very high( I’m based in Ireland ). When the product arrived found the product easy to use, practice makes perfect. My skin was a bit sensitive to it but didn’t realize that I could purchase the spray powder to help see where the fine hairs would probably help. Unfortunately my product stopped charging but in reaching out to the support staff at Michael Todd’s within a couple of weeks they came back to me via an email and are going to resend me a replacement ASAP. I am looking forward to getting to use replacement product when it arrives.

Although it wasn’t compatible with my particular skin/hair, I received helpful suggestions and excellent customer service. I would definitely suggest that you try it for yourself knowing that they will stand behind it.

I got the dermaplane tool with the hair identifier spray. Game changer! The tool works great, and the spray is like magic. 10/10 recommend.

The thing I love about this product is how mobile it is- it stores right in my bathroom bag to go.
It works so well, I get compliments on how fresh my skin looks.

My sonic smooth pro quit charging. I emailed them and they responded the very next business day. They are replacing my device for free. I use the sonic smooth pro weekly and love it.

I had written a bad review on this company when I had no help with my machine-
They reached out to me and actually took care of the problem and it’s my machine-
I’m glad they made it right-
My only suggestion , is that they give their team the power to do this right at the start, so customers don’t have to freak out first.
Many would just toss it and never shop with them again - having managed many big box and small retail establishments, I understand how helping the customer - helps build a business-
I hope they read this and empower their team to fix it first- no questions

Great customer service. I purchased my sonic smooth pro in early August and for some reason it will not turn on or charge. They answered my email that day and are going to send me another one.

I was skeptical to purchase the sonicsmooth but I am sure glad I did. There was a bit of a learning curve figuring out the correct angle to hold it but once I did it was very easy to use. It leaves my skin very smooth. I use it about once a month and my skin stays smooth. Customer service is very good. I had an issue with mine. The motor just stopped working. I emailed and they answered the next morning. They are going to replace it. I highly recommend the sonicsmooth to anyone looking for an affordable alternative to expensive trips to the salon/clinic.

Incredible customer service! I purchased my Sonic Smooth a little over a year ago, and for some reason it quit taking a charge. I contacted customer service and got an immediate response. I couldn't find the actual order, but Leah found it in their records and are replacing my handle. I have enjoyed using this device for a year now and will continue to use it faithfully. Why pay to have a dermaplane when I have a Sonic Smooth? Love it and appreciate their customer service being so helpful.

The Sonicsmooth is designed to be gentle and effective, even on sensitive skin. I don't recommend using oil during the process, as the device works best on a clean, dry face. However, you can moisturize immediately after dermaplaning to hydrate and soothe your skin!

I recently tried the Hair Identifier and the SonicSmooth Pro+ for the first time. Shipping was fast and I was a little skeptical at first. But I was surprised by the results, my sensitive skin didn’t get irritated at all. Instead, it left my face super glowy, smooth and glass-like. My skincare products sink in so much better now. I definitely recommend it, it’s so good I even got my husband to try it, and he’s loving it too.

I am truly blown away by this product! At first I was like how much better can derma planing get but boy was I wrong! This is like the most luxurious high quality derma planing tool on the market. It works so well and is so smooth. The LED light makes it so you can really see everything and just how much hair comes off. It was so easy to insert the blade which was sharp but never felt painful or like it was going to cut me which is more than I can say for most of the disposable derma plane tools I’ve used. This is an extremely durable product that I know will last me a long time. And it comes with a huge pack of extra blades so you can switch out the dull blades. So so happy with this product!
