NEVER BUY A CAR OR VAN FROM MERIT MOTORS

Bought a BMW from these guys a few weeks ago, part exchanged my Jaguar F Pace. Immediately on the drive home, the engine coolant light came on, followed by the engine warning light. I rang Harry who said I should get it checked and let him know as they’ll sort it. I got a quote for the engine issue (Vanos System Failure) which was £1100 for the repair. Harry told me to get a second quote and has now ignored all my calls and messages. Still waiting for my V5 too. I’ll be taking this to legal as after seeing similar negative reviews I believe someone needs to teach these crooks a lesson. I’ll update once I’ve had legal advise

Sorted

Bought an Antara from these con 'boys' YL65OZC, rude and obstructive on the phone, lied about mileage by 4000, don't honour agreed warranty, advertised the motor for £500 less, then £260 less aft receiving finance payout. I flew over to pick up motor, pulled shutters n left me standing, no sign of motor. Eventually brought it, held me up nearly 2 hours resulted in missing boat even tho was stressed by the broker to have everything ready. Issues with car, won't fix it,though engine seems fine but this is down to previous owner MOT vehicle. Can't tax as they won't provide reference number so in the process of pulling finance, empty words if you can get to speak with them and are ruining their family business reputation. Dishonourable liars.
Finally got sorted today with the owner/director who has been quick to resolve matters 12/06 hopefully happy motoring now just unfortunate that I had to go down the route of bad reviews n emails to sort this!!!!
