Mercado Pago is an unreliable platform for professional merchants. My business account was permanently closed due to a 'False Positive' triggered by their OWN official WooCommerce plugin.

I acted in good faith, reporting integration bugs to their developer support on Feb 17th. Instead of providing technical assistance, their automated risk algorithm flagged my account on Feb 20th and shut down my entire operation without human review.

The most concerning points:

Defective Software: Their official plugin causes the very errors they penalize you for.

Zero Human Support: They hide behind bots and canned responses, denying any right to appeal.

Financial Damage: They have paralyzed my online store, causing direct economic loss (Lucro Cesante) without any legal grounds or TOS violation.

They force you to use the camera for face recognition log in. If you don't do it you can no longer use the platform. Banks don't even do this, it is a complete abuse of privacy. I don't want to give them already more data so they can sell it. I am stopping using this. Its an abuse.

On 06/15 I paid installments and left a balance with a promise until 06/19. That same night, without warning or justification, the system increased my debt from $16,874 to $29,452.

They don't let you complete your registration without an Argetinian ID. They don't like foreigners here. And then they call themselves "FreeMarket". It's just too ironic. It's free as in North Korea...

Finally it's not possible to contact them at that stage to make them delete my data. They don't have an email but keep sending me mails to complete my registration...

It fails when you need something important to pay
If this company wants to be compared to Zelle, Bizum, or Paypal, it has a long way to go
