I rang to ask for an approximate lead time for my order as the email didn’t give any info, it just said we will contact you when it’s in stock, I was told the email was “fairly self explanatory” on the phone. I was calling as I was under time pressure and I just wanted to know if it was going to be days or weeks. I thought it was a fairly typical question to ask, didn’t think it was an over the top request.
I was Never asked for my order number, he didn’t want it when I offered and then put me on hold for a few mins to tell me it would probably be in after a day or 2, which seemed like a guess when he didn’t know my name, order number or what I ordered.
When I eventually was able to go and collect, I received a mail to tell me to proceed to the plumbing yard to pick it up, when I arrived and showed the email, I was given out to for not arriving with a docket and the attendant begrudgingly went to pick out my item.
Will be pretty hesitant in using MD O’Shea’s in future.
