I’ve purchased a lightning cord from this company years ago. The whole tip of the cord snapped off rendering it useless. Even though I only had it a few short months, they wouldn’t honor a return.
Now, several months later I purchased a different style lightning cord. The very tip of the cord has came apart leaving a tiny metal piece wedged in the charge port of my iPad that I can’t seem to get out. I’m afraid of damaging the port digging at it so now I will be out pocket at Apple repair! I’ve contacted MCDODO already and just like last time...”sorry about your luck”

DO NOT buy these cables. They are the WORST cables I have ever used. I have a new (like less than a month old) iPhone XR and when I plug the cable in my power actually goes in reverse. First time I used it I had 33% power and after about an hour on charge my phone was at 30% and I was not using the phone while charging for those that question how this is possible.
I unplugged and then tried again when at 28% and now 30 minutes later it's at 24%.

They are not fast chargers and 2 of my lightning chargers stopped working in about 4 months. Run the opposite way if you don’t want to land up with chargers dead as a dodo from Mcdodo

These are one of the worse chargers I have used.
They are definately not fast charging and cables get tangled easily.
Nothing the advertise is true. Don't fall for the trap

I ORDERED IN APRIL AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER AND THE KEEP BLAMING USPS FOR MY ORDER NOT GETTING TO ME IT SEEM THEY ALSO HAVE CHANGED THERE NAME FROM MCDODO TECH TO MCDODO WORLD TO TRY TO KEEP FROM THE BAD REVIEWS

I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN AND I HOPE OTHERS SEE THIS AND DON'T ORDER EITHER.

Awful customer service poor quality item purchased Mcdodo iPhone charger supposed to be unbreakable stopped working after 2 weeks contacted Mcdodo to be told to download Dropbox and make a video of the charger not working did as asked still no refund or replacement steer clear you have been warned

This company sells crappy cords that only work for a few days and then they require you to send in a video to show proof their product is not working.. and before they respond to the email they send you a email asking you to review their product and if it’s a bad review they cancel their replacement order...

I'd give a zero star if I could! The only thing these cords are good for is using them as tie-down straps! Poor customer service! Mcdodo answer for a quick fix is to contact the retailer that sold it to you. HEY Mcdodo... that would be you!

This is the worst brand ever. Like several people, the outside of the charger broke off in my Ipad. This sucked and took lots of my time. I threw all the TRASH chargers away - WASTING ALL MY MONEY - So i recommend all of you to buy straight from apple, not MCDODOTECH. 0 star review for the rest of my life. DO not buy - WARNING!!! I want a full refund!

By far the biggest scam that I have ever purchased. When buying a lightning cable for my Iphone in march of 2019, the product came with a year warranty. 6 months after buying the cord, it started to act up and not connect as well. I have treated it well and it has no signs of damage. Now the cord is completely useless. I contacted them to receive my new cord because the original stopped working and they made up a list of excuses why they can't send me what I paid for. Terrible company, even worse customer service, and a product that supposedly is extremely durable however is a cheap quality cord similar to those that you can buy at a gas station. DO NOT BUY

Not comptible with iPhone 11. Have three useless cables now.

I bought 6 cables during last Xmas. It was working well with my iPad and iPhone XR. This past weekend i got an iPhone 11 but none of the cords work to charge my new phone. They all still work on my iPad fine and my work phone which is an iPhone 8. I brought 2 of the cords to work and tested them with coworkers who had iPhone 11s and same thing... the cords do not work on the iPhone 11s but work fine on other Apple older devices. Worked with support and they had me restart my iPhone with the cords plugged into the phone and that didn’t work. They also had me turn on the USB Accessories setting in Face ID/Password option but that didn’t work either. Is anyone else experiencing this? Has Apple made it so that non proprietary cords do not work on their newest iPhones? Please help. I have a bunch of cords that do not work :(

Found a fix for the cable! I’ve just worked out that if the cable gets overly twisted within the nylon cord then it will not charge. Try to straighten out and untwist the cable and it should work, well at least that’s what’s worked for me. I’ve had this cable for over two years and it’s still going strong. Hope this helps.

UPDATE - Cable back to working intermittently, the LED will flash when connected to my phone but it will not initiate charging. Has to be reinserted a few times before it will work.

Wanted a strong and reliable recharging cord these looked fantastic, but the connection broke after having it for only four weeks this product is absolutely rubbish do not purchase

Bought two of these to charge mine and my wife’s iPhones . Charge phones ok but don’t work well if plugged into a wireless charging base , but sadly if you take the phones of base for a while then put them back on you have to unplug the cable then plug back in to work . Doesn’t state that they don’t work with bases so reverted back to my original cables .

failed to charge after only 6 months, avoid

I brought 6 iPhone 2m auto-disconnect cables about 4 months ago. Only one still works all the others have stopped changing and one broke off the outside connector in my iPad and I had to have the connection socket replaced by Apple. They look the business but are crap.
