I am notifying you of this now because the MG vehicle we have on order for you is not scheduled to arrive from the factory before we close.
Your vehicle will remain on order and presuming you still wish to take delivery alternative arrangements will be made with a neighbouring dealer for the transfer and eventual handover of the car to you.)) If they are closing down why they still taking new orders and why they didn’t announce on their website that they are closing down and they misleading the customer’s?? It’s very unprofessional and dishonest.

Masters of Beckenham were glad to take my order for a new Dacia & a deposit just before Christmas 2021 & advised 3 month delivery (March 2022). Had a subsequent e-mail early in January 2022 advising that delivery had gone out to mid/late April. Received an e-mail today advising that Masters of Beckenham were closing down on 29th April & as my car was now due mid/late June they wouldn't be able to supply it but were willing to transfer the order to another (undefined) dealership. Firstly this is the first I've been advised that delivery has gone out again & secondly surely they must have known they were scheduled to close down in April when they accepted my order in December 2021 & thirdly delivery has now gone out from the original quoted 3 months to 6 months. What a way to treat a new customer. Very dubious business practices.
The worst customer treatment I have experienced in a long time.
After a promising start the subsequent email exchanges from the sales manager were blunt and curt. I had to escalate to the dealership principle who apologised and said lessons needed to be learnt from my treatment.
However, at no point did anyone there ask the question 'is there anything we can do to turn this around and retain your business'.
Instead I was wished well buying my new car elsewhere.
Purchased Outlander for £25000 at the end of July and within a month an alert appeared for a service. Called the sales department and emailed but received no response despite promises of calls. Eventually got hold of Matthew who promised to copy us in to an email to service. This was never received. Service called but was very unhelpful and it seems we are expected to take unpaid time off work to get this done. Why were we sold a vehicle that was due a service within a month. If this is not resolved we will be contacting Mr C and Mr S Stoneham directly. Happy to take our money but not deal with this!
We purchased a new car from them.
Very helpful, polite and friendly. Gave the info we needed and left the decision to us.
Highly recommended.
Support when you need it!
Two years ago I bought a used car from Masters of Beckenham. As part of the purchase I took out a Crystal Clear Guarantee (managed by Warranty Administration Services) to protect myself from unexpected, expensive repairs for a three year period.
Sadly the car has needed two expensive interventions in the past year but I am happy to confirm that the Masters of Beckenham Ltd Crystal Clear Guarantee has come up trumps and covered this unexpected expenditure. Well done Masters of Beckenham, your after sales support is excellent.
