I just want to say what an amazing team Markel have!
I have recently been in touch with a lovely gentleman who was so helpful to get me the best price he could for my business insurance.
This isn't the first time I've been impressed, as 2 years ago it was Markel Law who were just amazing!
I was going through the absolute worst time where my access to my business premises was being denied for no reason at all. I had complained to the trust of the building, council, you name it - but no one was listening while my business was suffering as well as my own health.
When I contacted the FSB for help (Federation of Small Business - I'm a member) they passed me onto Markel Law. Although the FSB thought I didn't meet the requirements to qualify for the free legal help it was Martin Fraiel who looked at my case in more detail to in fact find I did!
From there Martin worked to get me the absolute best outcome he could and after some months of those responsible trying to wriggle out of what they had caused we won our case with my full losses and damages being paid as well as many of the people who were at fault having to walk away from their posts.
I've been worried to share my story in case of any legal implications, however I would love to share more of my experience with those at Markel Law, as I just can't begin to explain how when I was in a world where no one would help me and I felt like I was loosing everything, that Martin at Markel Law was there. It was just little me against what felt like the world and it was through sheer support and hard work that got us the outcome we so deserved!
Thank you so much for giving me the strength to fight in a world where people with power think they can do as they please without consequence, I will be forever grateful!

After speaking to a colleague and arranging the cover I was very disappointed when it came to accepting, that the buildings insurance wasn't available due to the Listed status.

Took out basic liability insurance for under £45. Chose monthly payment option. Their chosen partner forced me into a loan for £4.50 a month damaging my credit history. I thought I was signing for a direct debit. The setting up was ruthless, bombarding me with messages and emails threatening £25 charge for non compliance with the set up, sending documents, etc. Non compliance would mean they would fine me and take the money anyway! This is in their first communications within 24 hours. Disgusting. Will be contacting the FCA over both companies behaviour. Premium Credit aggressively persued the money and set up a loan?
Need a SAR and to settle this rediculous loan but all emails bounce back. Appalling service will ask the FCA for advice.

Update: I paid the full amount and was refunded payments with the promise they would correct the information held by credit agencies. I will add an update if this happens.

I recently encountered an issue regarding property damage and reached out to Markel for assistance. Rebecca was absolutely amazing throughout the process. She genuinely understood my claim, took the time to help, and was a pleasure to speak with. Her service was exceptional.

Rebecca is a true asset to Markel, and based on this experience, I would highly recommend the company. 10/10 service!

Really easy dealing with them. The telephone conversation was easy, as was setting up my requirements. Absolute pleasure dealing with them.

Very easy to get an online quote that was relevant to my specific business type and needs.

The experience of arranging this insurance policy has only been marred by that of trying to pay for it via installments. This seems to be a long-winded and contorted process which I hope will be resolved before the policy is due to begin!

So easy to make contact with, customer advisor was polite, friendly and understood my enquiries. Very competitive pricing and honestly, the easiest company I've dealt with in a long time! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
