If life allowed it I would make this my home
I have just visited the Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai. The service level at this hotel is outstanding. They really have set the bar. The staff are incredible and there for everything you need during your stay. The breakfast, poolside restaurant and room service all exceptional. The rooms are wonderfully spacious and very comfortable. If life allowed it I would make this my home.
Highly recommended
Mandarin Oriental New York has been a fantastic place to stay! Highly recommended.
My stay at the Mandarin Hotel was…excellent!
My stay at the Mandarin Hotel was without doubt the best hotel I’ve had the pleasure to visit. The food selection was very good, the room and bed were very comfortable, and the staff were second to none.
Great stay at the Mandarin Oriental…
Great stay at the Mandarin Oriental Knightsbridge. Lovely rooms and service, although the food and drinks were fairly average. Overall, an enjoyable hotel, just shy of five stars for me, but still worth recommending.

We enjoyed our stay at Mandarin at Singapore. Stunning view from the room, exceptional service and professional in every thinkable way.
I recently stayed at the Mandarin…
I recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Istanbul with my daughter and we had the most wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful décor and warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and extremely comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay.
The amenities throughout the hotel were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the amazing choice of restaurants, each offering something unique and delicious. There truly was something for everyone.
I’d also like to make a special mention of Bahar, who greeted us every morning at breakfast. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so well looked after, a lovely start to our day. Her kindness really stood out and made our stay even more memorable.
Overall, I couldn’t be more delighted with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. We look forward to visiting again!
After months of planning and on my…
After months of planning and on my birthday being the 12th October myself and a group of friends and family dined in the Rosebery restaurant for afternoon tea.
A high end hotel, we dressed appropriately.
Coats were taken and we were escorted to our seats. Nothing but politeness and perfection so far. We were all impressed.
The table itself was set out immaculately, seating slightly low and a little uncomfortable for some.
£85 per person for the afternoon tea so it was a treat and a special occasion. We were asked about drinks (tea was included) we had water for the table. My friend purchased a glass of champagne for me as it was my 50th birthday.
The afternoon tea itself was ok. However, I do not think that the small plates of tiny sandwiches equated to even two slices of bread. Some had a prawn cocktail appetiser which came in a small tin to be shared between two people my appetiser if I had scraped it all out of the tin would have fitted on a breakfast spoon, the tiny pieces of crackers (if put back together) wouldn’t even have made half a riveta. Again, I appreciate the high end hotel we were in and the definition of ala carte but really!
The pastries however, were immaculate no grumbles there but compared to the meagre portion of sandwiches perhaps far too many.
It was exceptionally hot inside. We received one pot of tea between two people (if you were having the same type of tea - apparently tea was included) and a glass of water (whilst topped up from the same bottle that did not manage to top up everyone’s glass) for the whole of the two and a half hours we spent in there. I was only asked whether I wanted another glass of champagne I believe because of the price.
The bill - this came to nearly £800 so the grumble here is that £14 of that was for water, not even an unopened bottle of cold water that was left on our table to help ourselves to but a carafe of what can only have been described as tap water poured by the staff and topped us up with the remainder that didn’t even fill everyone’s empty glass and a £99 gratuity charge. So £85 per person then went to £101 per person.
Having never been to such a magnificent and high end restaurant we did not know whether or not we could have the gratuity removed or even question the £14 water cost so we paid it.
I have to say I did not find the afternoon tea exceptional or value for money and I felt robbed and upset that my family and friends had to shell out more than they expected and it ruined my birthday celebrations.
Disappointed is an understatement and a place I will never return to.

Rude and unprofessional members of staff
I had a very bad experience while bringing a client to the mandarin Oriental Hyde park hotel. One of the Mandarin hotel’s doorman scratched my car’s bumper.
After negotiating with hotel managers about the issue, one of the managers named Rob Pomroy requested a repair receipt, after submitting a quotation Mr. Pomroy claimed that it’s not their fault and it’s not their responsibility to pay for the damage.
I will not bring any more clients to the Mandarin hotel as the members of staff are being rude and very unprofessional, i also urge drivers to be careful while parking at Mandarin Hyde park hotel, as they may damage your vehicle without paying any compensation.
I stayed at 2 Mandarin Orientals in…
I stayed at 2 Mandarin Orientals in Hong Kong (one on Connaught Road and one on Queen’s Road), Kuala Lumpur, and Paris. Definitely sign up for the Fans of MO to get perks and build a client history. Of all my hotel stays, MO were generally the fastest in providing service, solving problems, and also giving gifts to show their appreciation. MO on Connaught Rd Hong Kong also has a loyalty program called Central +. Lots of perks and significant discounts for dining. Even though there are newer and shinier hotels in Hong Kong, I still believe MO on Connaught Rd is the best in terms of service, ambiance, and history. Mandarin Oriental in Paris is forgettable; it doesn’t express the history of Hong Kong hospitality nor the style of Parisian hotels. Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur has a fabulous Club Lounge with great food and view, and the staff went above and beyond. Overall, Mandarin Oriental is still my favorite hotel brand.

THIS GROUP IS ABSOLUTELY A SCAM
THIS GROUP IS ABSOLUTELY A SCAM! I purchased a 400 CHF gift card for a friend that is moving to Japan, for him and the wife to enjoy it in Tokyo. At the end of the page, in incredibly small characters, there was written the following sentence: “gift cards are not available for purchase online in Japan or for redemption in Taipei.”
From this sentence I understood that the gift card could not be purchased in Japan (which was not my case), but it could be redeemed there. However, after the purchase , MO group informed me that it was not the case, and after asking for a refund, they told me that it was not possible. Now, I personally believe it should be your problem to clearly write a sentence that is fully understandable without any misunderstandings by whoever purchases on your website! They were absolutely un-professional and I definitely NOT recommend anyone to go there. I personally won’t , even if I have to lose those 400 CHF.
have a good life
Thanks your staff
Thanks to your team at cake shop in hk I left my cell phone and went back and they have it safe for me
