information on the website is false

malwaretips need to check what they post on their website, because there are plenty of false allegations towards reliable websites, which makes malwaretips look like they are managing targeted defamation or they are simply incompetent in what they do

MalwareTips is definitely garbage…

MalwareTips is definitely a garbage website and 100% FAKE. It's kind of ironic that a site that warns you about fake sites would be fake itself. They copy and paste the EXACT same crap about every website they review. It is literally a lazy, copy and paste job.

Update: They will claim they are being targeted by the websites they seek to expose. LIES! I am a real user with multiple TrustPilot reviews. Do your own investigating and DON'T BELIEVE MalwareTips because it is 100% FAKE.

What are these negative reviews even about?

I have no clue what beef the other reviewers here have with this site... they must be in bad faith, because my one experience with MalwareTips has been nothing short of enlightening. They did an awesome job in exposing a scam site advertised on socials (Vautes.com), with thorough explanation of their tactics, and that to me was sufficient proof of their reliability and honesty. I can all but imagine all these 1-star comments are from the exposed scammers themselves.

Flagged by Facebook as a phishing site

My experience with this site is the following: I posted one of their articles on Facebook. Facebook removed it because Facebook claimed it contained phishing malware.
Make up your own mind.

Edited because due to the reply below.

Why is it that when I do a search for this site and safety, the results are very worrying?

Here’s what Bing says - Questionable
The legitimacy of malwaretips.com is questionable.

Anyway sharing articles that contain dodgy code is dodgy. If you don’t want people to share on social media, remove the share button. Yeah right.

I wouldn’t have given the site another thought had they not got my post removed on Facebook. Think on, as they say in Yorkshire.

Furthermore, claiming that all the negative reviews are fake is just low. So the one star remains and I hope your 5 star reviews are genuine. Seems you only have 1 star or 5 star reviews. Why could that be?

Hi Rob,

Thank you so much for attempting to share one of our articles on Facebook. We truly appreciate it.

The warning you received from Facebook was likely due to the site/service we highlighted as a scam, which they flagged.

You can find a full report for our site on VirusTotal here: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/c8bff297b4a6e498f0428b8f817fe7d73d4bb52435c2d72fb31354a1e920056a

As you can see, everything is clear.

We have multiple layers of protection against malware and malicious attacks (we experience DDOS attacks regularly) to ensure your safety while browsing our site.

We noticed you gave us a 1-star review, which doesn’t reflect our efforts. If possible, we’d appreciate you reconsidering your review and perhaps joining our community.

Thanks again!

Best regards.

malwaretips abusive moderation team.

Admins and moderators are continuously abusive towards other members by calling them names. I have screenshots.... No other security forum that i have been to has moderators that act like this. Spawn and "upnorth" are defiantly doing a great job in turning good people away from that forum. They allow talks of hitler in the forums as well. May i say more?
