Flight cancelled on march 4 2026 and…

Flight cancelled on march 4 2026 and today is April 12 2026, mmt still not provide me any refund or rebooking.
Many time contacted but always say next week and next week.
I am very disappointed, no money for rebooking.

Worst experience NEVER book through MMT

1) Hotel in Darjeeling (Day 1 ~ Day 3): We were not informed that “Only veg will be served” during booking. None of the days, dinner buffet was available giving the reason “Not enough guests are there”. Menu was very limited. Spa and sport facility were there just for a name sake. There is no vibe. Table tennis room was like a store room with completely torn and damaged rackets. Lawn badminton was there but no feather cok to play.
2) Gangtok - Cab transport ( Day 4 ~ Day6) : Driver on day 4 to nathula pass was very rude always pressuring us to quickly finish the spots while we had to wait in the car during which he cleaned his car for 30 mins.
Driver on day 6 to airport was horrible. He was continuously chewing gutka and I requested him to allow me to open the window doors as I was feeling nausea due to gutka smell. He denied saying dust will come and suggested me to tell when to vomit so that he can stop the car. I requested him to at least switch off the AC since nausea will increase otherwise. He denied saying he cannot take heat. He wa continuously coughing and all the Dutka particles along were coming out and all our family members have to take it with all doors closed for around 5 hrs of journey. Driving was extremely rash always going in wrong opposite lane and continuously honking like mad. However we were afraid and kept silent praying god for early and safe reach.
He didn’t even helped us to take the luggage out and surprisingly he was very furious for not thanking him at the end.

I feel there is absolutely no control for make my trip on what happens on the ground and just using the brand name putting the existing customers into trouble.

Complaint against MakeMyTrip (Booking…

Complaint against MakeMyTrip (Booking ID: NH74212471348152) and Coastal Grand Mahendravanam.
​I booked a "Family Room" for 4 adults at Coastal Grand Mahendravanam via MakeMyTrip for stay on 27-03-2026. Upon arrival, the property lacked basic amenities: no power backup, no functioning lift, and no drinking water. The hotel manager (Karthick) admitted these failures via WhatsApp but failed to refund the amount.
​MakeMyTrip is refusing a full refund, offering only a 25% "goodwill" gesture for a room that was physically non-functional. This is a "Gross Deficiency in Service" under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
​Relief Sought: Full refund of ₹5,701 + reimbursement for Salem Junction stay (₹452) + ₹5,000 for mental agony. Total: ₹11,153.

Refund Issue

Lol I can relate so much with all the comments. I had a very frustrating experience with the refund process by MMT.

After waiting for a month with no update, I followed up and was informed by MMT that the delay was because of Emirates not refunding the amount to them. But, when I contacted Emirates directly, I was surprised to know that my ticket hadn’t even been cancelled by MMT 🥲

I decided to file a formal complaint with DET. Not sure if it’s because of this or simply a coincidence, shortly after, the matter was resolved within 3 days 👀

I appreciate that the issue was eventually handled, but the transparency and accuracy in communication were just a nightmare. I will never use their service again.

It pains me to write this

It pains me to write this, but I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I purchased a travel insurance policy from MMT based on their promise of immediate policy generation. However, even after three days, I have not received my policy document.

What is even more frustrating is the complete lack of customer support. I have spent over 24 hours trying to connect with a real representative who could resolve my issue or at least provide an update. I have tried multiple channels-X (Twitter), email, their chatbot, and phone calls-but none have resulted in any meaningful assistance.

Despite repeated follow-ups, including asking others to amplify the issue on social media, there has been no response or action from their side. This level of negligence clearly shows a disregard for customers.

I have not only lost my money but also a significant amount of time and peace of mind. The service has been extremely disappointing, and I deeply regret choosing them. I sincerely hope others do not have to go through a similar experience.

MakeMyTrip are scammers and customer service is terrible. I regret booking my flights with them, please beware their customer service is non-existence.
I asked for a refund for my flight from Bali to Gatwick, they cancelled my flight and have refused to refund me.

My flight was canceled by the airline, the airline confirmed that they have refunded my ticket and is with the ticket provider which is MMT. I have followed up a lot of times, super hard to get any contact representatives from this company and still now my refund has not been returned to my account.

Worst customer experience and a company with no empathy

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided for Booking ID NH26237464560136. I requested a partial cancellation two weeks in advance due to travel disruptions caused by the Middle East conflict.

While airlines have been empathetic and issued refunds, MakeMyTrip has used delay tactics. Your support team claimed the hotel refused the cancellation, yet the hotel confirmed they were never even contacted.

I advise other NRIs to be cautious when booking through this platform, as their customer service lacks both transparency and empathy for genuine travel emergencies.

I booked a ticket through MTC

I booked a ticket through MTC, but due to a technical glitch, an error occurred—yet the ticket was still booked. Because of this, I had to book another ticket.

I explained the entire situation to your support team agent, Parvati, who assured me that she would cancel the ticket and refund the ₹288 cancellation charge by the next day. The ticket was indeed canceled.

However, when I reconnected with your team, I was informed that the refund would not be processed. This is extremely disappointing and reflects very poor customer service.

Please look into this matter urgently.

This is shit

This is shit! They are just scammers. Took deposit and provided fake information. Nothing is real. No contract or assistance available at all. This is my first time using their services and when trying to contact their driver or customer service it says multiple bookings existed under the same reference, all their instructions and drivers details provided are fake. I have even confirmed at the parking booth and so such car bearing the registration number even entered the parking however my booking status keep saying driver is waiting. Common sense even if driver waited for an hour they would usually reach out but his status says waiting for many hours. When we tried calling the driver it shows a Karnataka number. When start chatting with the customer service to discuss about an invoice sent a day after the booking it says we are looking into it but nothing else mentioned. This is fake website with fake ppl running the business

DELAYED REFUND & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

My wife and I booked a round-trip flight from Dubai to Japan via Singapore on Singapore Airlines through MakeMyTrip. Our flight was scheduled to depart on 10th March 2026 and was cancelled due to the geopolitical situation - something entirely outside our control. We are entitled to a full refund. What has followed since then has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences of our lives.

We submitted our refund request on 6th March. MakeMyTrip acknowledged it and told us to expect an update within 7 days. No update ever came.

My wife called again on 25th March and was told we should receive the refund by 1st April. We asked for written confirmation - proof of payment or any refund documentation - and were told none could be provided. 1st April came and went with no refund.

When we followed up on 1st April, we were told the funds hadn’t been received from Singapore Airlines yet, but that MakeMyTrip would send them an email to chase it up, and that we’d hear back within 24 hours. We did not hear back.

We have called MakeMyTrip multiple times for over a month. Every single time, we are either told to “wait” or promised an update that never materialises. When pressed, your agents tell us that Singapore Airlines needs to release the funds - but offer no timeline, no escalation, and no accountability. Just empty reassurances.

All we have asked for, repeatedly, is a clear answer on when we can expect our refund - as it is a significant sum of money. That is not an unreasonable request. And yet, MakeMyTrip has failed to provide even that.

We will certainly not be using MakeMyTrip again.

I wouldn't even give them a one star…

I wouldn't even give them a one star rating. Quickly took my money for a trip and once it was cancelled would not refund it due to blaming the airline (Kenya Airlines). The airline explained that Make my trip had not, in fact, initiated the refund and therefore could not process it. Both blaming one another. Still no way of getting my money back and at a lost cause. Would not use this travel agent ever again.

Worst customer service experience ever…

Worst customer service experience ever with MakeMyTrip. I was kept on hold for over 60+ minutes straight with no one coming on the line, no response at all. It’s extremely difficult to reach their support team when you actually need help. Completely unacceptable service. I would strongly advise against booking your tickets through them.

Never book through make my trip

Never book through make my trip. Even after trip cancellation by airline, they do not make 100% refund and keep some amount with themselves calling it convenience fee. Moreover, they keep holding your money unnecessarily even after receiving refund from airline.

Make my trip i booked my flight ticket on 19th March via SpiceJet, but have not received any refund till now. Through Make My Trip, even. Experience is very awful & pathetic.

I am writing again this serious issue of not refunding money. Still have not received a refund for the flight cancellation on 19th March. Never trust Make My Trip. Pathetic & extremely awful service . They only know ho to take money .

I had a very disappointing exConfirmed Reservation Denied at Hotel – Poor Coordination by MakeMyTripperience…

I had a very disappointing experience with a reputed platform like MakeMyTrip during my recent family trip to Shimla.

We started our journey from Delhi on 2nd April and reached Shimla on 3rd April around 1 PM. Since it was a sudden plan, we couldn’t pre-book a hotel and instead made a booking on the way at around 11 AM through the MakeMyTrip app. I received the booking confirmation via both the app and SMS.

However, upon reaching the hotel, the staff informed us that our booking was not reflecting in their system (PMS) and asked us to contact MakeMyTrip customer support. I immediately got in touch with their team, shared all the required details, and was told it might be a technical issue. They assured me that the confirmation would be resent via email.

Despite this, the hotel staff continued to deny the booking, stating it was still not visible in their system.

This entire back-and-forth went on for nearly an hour. Meanwhile, my famil including my wife and elderly parents was left waiting in the car on the roadside after an exhausting 11–12 hour journey from Delhi to Shimla.

Although the booking amount was eventually refunded and I had to make a fresh booking, the entire experience was extremely exhausting and stressful. This kind of mismanagement and lack of coordination is completely unacceptable, especially from a platform like MakeMyTrip. It caused unnecessary inconvenience and disrupted the start of what was supposed to be a relaxing family trip.

We have been charged more for the hotel that is getting at less price now on makemytrip
Secondly,till now we have note received any gst invoice against our full payment..

Worst booking online I ever MakeMyTrip Is the WORST Travel Platform — Zero Customer Care, Zero Accountability, and Endless Excuses – A BIG SCAMMER

I am writing this after weeks of frustration, wasted time, and complete disappointment with MakeMyTrip. Their service has become unbelievably poor, and at this point, it feels like dealing with a scam rather than a trusted travel company.

1. Their customer care is absolutely useless
Their contact number is a joke. You can call and wait for hours, and still no human representative will ever answer. It’s like they intentionally avoid customers once they’ve taken your money.

2. My flight refund experience has been a nightmare
I booked a return flight for February 10.
On February 28, the Middle East situation escalated and flights were affected.
My return flight on March 09 was cancelled by the airline.
From that same day, I have been trying to contact MakeMyTrip for my refund. I reached out through:
• Phone calls
• Messenger
• Instagram
• WhatsApp
And every single time, all I get is the same copy paste message:
“We appreciate you contacting us. Please be assured that the refund will be processed as soon as it is received from the airline. – Pushpa”
They have been repeating this for over a month with no update, no action, and no refund. Just empty words.

3. Hotel booking scam — money deducted, no service provided
I also booked a hotel through MakeMyTrip. The amount was deducted from my account, but the booking FAILED. I didn’t receive any confirmation, no service, nothing. And just like the flight refund, they have taken zero action to return my money.

4. This company has lost all credibility
MakeMyTrip is quick to charge your card, but when it comes to refunds or real customer support, they vanish. Their customer care is robotic, unhelpful, and completely disconnected from reality.
Customers trust them with their travel plans and hard earned money, and this is how they repay that trust—with delays, excuses, and silence.
God sees everything. God will bless them according to what they are doing to customers who trusted them.
At this point, MakeMyTrip feels like a big scam hiding behind a famous name.

My advice: Avoid MakeMyTrip at all costs.
There are many other platforms that actually care about their customers. This one clearly does not.
