(Not so) Smartecarte
What a joke. 73 British pounds to ship a small item that I can buy new for 20 pounds. Just set up a postal outlet and I could send it for a tenth the price.
Overpriced.
Overpriced.

Then ask if you want £15 insurance for your £20 spanner?

I would accept their £10 admin fee if all their other pricing was reasonable. But they have ballooned every other cost.
Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers, my spicebomb perfume was confiscated by security at Heathrow for "suspicious appearance" which is frank insanity, my parcel didn't even show in tracking for two weeks despite zillion emails, then it worked, they asked for 47£ to ship it from London to Portsmouth (70miles)!! They even put charges for dangerous goods!!
At least Mr Turpin wore a mask
At least Mr Turpin wore a mask - day light robbery (hang your head in shame) theathing bast***s.
Charged me £17.10 postage for an item that would cost maybe £3.00 to post, as well as £10 admin. Just con artists.
Daylight Robbery
I had a 150ml which I honestly thought was only 100ml confiscated. I got my label and logged on to the website. I live in Glasgow and they are quoting £76 to fly it to me???? So are they actually booking a seat for it? DHL deliver every day to my business from France £6.95 but they cant get DHL to deliver to Glasgow from London without flying it? What a piece of nonsense. Come on UK Government you HAVE to get involved in this. Talk about rip off Britain and Heathrow Airport you should be ashamed of yourself associating with D. Turpin and his band of merry men.
Total cost to have it returned including all the charges £120.47 to send a bottle of Aftershave from London to Glasgow........Disgusting
Terrible Customer Service - Refusal to Take Responsibility
My experience with Mail & Fly has been deeply disappointing. My packages (tracking numbers 0123673639 & 0123673640), shipped on January 20, 2025, are being held by DHL due to missing information. Mail & Fly has consistently refused to take responsibility for this issue, shifting the blame to DHL. They are also refusing to honor the Premium Protection I purchased, leaving me to bear the consequences of their failure. Their customer service has been unresponsive and unhelpful.
DO NOT RECOMMEND
HIGHLY CAUTION

Total Scam!
As I suspected at the airport, total scam! I had a 125ml spray deodorant, so 25ml over the limit, they wanted to charge £46.47 to deliver it from Heathrow to my home in South East London. I am amazed that a company is allowed to operate in this way.

Their site seems designed to ignore any claims for items kept in ttheir charge. Shouldn't surprise anyone, just another british con.
I agree with previous reviewers
I agree with previous reviewers. Told at Heathrow that looked "expensive" and she would just put my 240 ml cleanser into the new mailandfly service. Had advised me would be £8.00. Had it bagged up very quickly and handed me the top of bag as receipt, contact details. When I logged onto site actually was £28.00 to rtn it. I am very suspicious of this service and wonder where all " the items " have gone. Have I become too untrusting or am I right to be concerned?
B.A should look into this???I wonder also if return price was affected by value of goods. Always chance to cancel on each page...giving the impression they did not want you to get your item back...
Charge you 3 times the cost
Charge you 3 times the cost, then charge for fuel, then ship with DHL which is a completely different company for a price 3 times lower.
Surprised that the British TSA has its own scam up and running.
Sad you need this terrible middleman and can't ship directly with DHL.
This is a deception
This is a deception. I paid 50 pounds for them to send me the product, and I received an email 4 days later stating that the product could not be shipped and that I might have to go to the UK to pick it up in person. They are not responding to refund me for the service they won't be providing. I lost both my product and the money, which could have been used to buy another one. Since it was a gift, I wanted to recover the same item that was withheld from me. A piece of advice is not to fall for this scam.
K and B at Bristol Airport were fab
We were a bit nervous we would not get our things back after all the bad reviews and an unanswered response when texting mail and fly. But when we landed in Bristol Airport, it was even late at night and Kayleigh and Bradley were super friendly and helpful. We got our things back safe and sound and they were really cheery. Thank you ^_^

These bunch of cowboys are rip off merchants of the highest order. A cycle torque wrench is going to cost me £30 to get posted back to my UK address from Heathrow!!!
Misleading information from the…
Misleading information from the Security staff (they said £18 when the final quote was £44). Don’t answer the phone whilst charging for the call and don’t answer emails. I think a formal complaint to Heathrow is appropriate.
Thiefs...
We seems to accept every possible scam that gov and huge corps are throwing at us and we cant do anything about it.
I am flying even few times a week and what a suprise it was when they took 2 50ml bottles out of my luggage explaining that its too much... From when? Why did you start limiting that stuff now? It fits in my hand luggage so what is the issue? There is no good argument but to STEAL even more of our hard earned money.
Complete rip off
Complete rip off, this should be considered theft.
Unacceptable, 74£ pounds postage from Bristol to Jersey? 14£ for fuel charges? What is even that? Completely Disgusting, shame, they do this on purpose to keep your items and sell it off for profit.
Totally misleading service, great way to make money mailandfly
My issue with this service is the misleading information surrounding the price of the service from 1) airport staff and 2) on the packaging.
Under no circumstance do I see this service costing £8 because there are so many mandatory and random fees added. They use DHL which is extortionate, there is a service fee, a fuel charge, VAT (WHY?) and dangerous good fee (nail varnish is a dangerous good despite the fact you can take it on a plane if you can fit it into your little plastic bag). My fee of near £45 was a joke... I would have never left expensive items behind if I knew it would cost this much to get back, but being told the cost is between £8-10..... It's a total scam and really unfortunate. The company staff were helpful in locating my items and having it mailed (after removing my dangerous nail varnish) and I got my items back for around £26... I would highly recommend NOT using this service if you can avoid it. I hope trading standards look into this because it is so misleading and should not be allowed, customers are being held hostage by airport security having a bad day. And why we are still having to use small plastic bags to get liquids on a plane I don't understand. Technology has moved on so much, this is a redundant process and now mailandfly are making money of it. Shame!
100€ to send a 1inch bottle opener
they do the prices they want because you can't choose the courier at the London Heathrow airport
