I recently purchased a Halloween prop from Madhattersjokeshop, expecting next-day delivery as advertised. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Firstly, they state that "next day delivery" is available, I have since found out they discreetly mention that props take 2-3 working days, which I found misleading and under hand.

It clearly states this on the order confirmation:

"Shipping: £11.99 via Next Working Day Delivery (UK Mainland)"

To make matters worse, they delivered my order to the billing address instead of the shipping address I provided, causing a lot of unnecessary hassle.
Quite frankly this could have been resolved but your customer service is lacking. Overall, I found the service unreliable and poorly managed, which was very disappointing given their claims. I would be cautious about ordering from them if you're expecting fast and reliable delivery.

I am not local to Yeovil, but live 30 min or so away. I found this shop about 18 months ago and so glad I did. Before this I used Amazon and other sites, but the quality of what arrived was poor. the mad hatter has so much stock at great qualility and there prices are very competitive. The staff are always so welcoming and freindly plus nothing is too much trouble for them. The have even got be items i need which they do not usually sell.

Visited The Mad Hatter quite simply AMAZING. The shop is so much bigger than you expect and they sell everything.I even when in the Horror Shop, it’s was just WOW so amazing, so much great stock and not at stupid prices plus the lady I spoke to was so helpful and friendly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop to anyone. You have to visit it. I came down from Cardiff and totally worth it.
