Absolutely BEWARE….I have ordered two…

Absolutely BEWARE….I have ordered two items, the company have taken already the funding for these items.

I was informed the items would be delivered today ( 28 th October). Then to be told they wouldn’t be and no explanation of why and when I might get them. This is shocking customer service and care.
The company is obviously in trouble and are not communicating with their customers

MADE themselves bust...

It goes to show that if you offer customers quality furniture, and withhold replacement parts, replacement covers, and fail to offer a strong resolution service which is simple, you inevitably lose the most important aspect of the business, the custom. Countless reviews about refunds and repairs being treated like car insurance collisions, requiring independent and costly reviews, all to find further stalling via percentage money back offers. It is a huge shame that their fantastic style is now going to be forgotten. The CEO and the leaders have sunk this ship..

How to get your money back

Hi everyone,

I requested a charge back via my bank and the money was returned within hours. Email Made.com using their email... contact @ made.com ... request delivery or a refund and include your order number and when they send the bulk standard response others have posted, use this as evidence to claim the charge back.

If you used a credit card and the transaction was over £100, then you can get your money back via your credit card company.

Made is such an amazing store

Made is such an amazing store! I am saddened to hear that it is in financial difficulty. I have been eyeing up my dream bed and was waiting to exchange on my new flat so that I could buy a bed from made.com. Yes it was pricey but would have been worth it. Sadly it looks like this won’t happen now unless the website becomes active again. I have a few bits of furniture from this store and I hope it survives because even the kitchen bins are cute!

Sent 2 broken tables

Ordered an extending dining table and waited 10 weeks for it to arrive only to open it to discover it was completely broken. The extending mechanism was not attached on one side meaning the top of the table was not attached to the bottom. After going through the process of getting another sent I opened the second table to discover this was broken in the same way!!! I then looked again at the reviews of this table on Made and saw quite a few reviews with the same story exactly with replies showing Made know about this issue but are continuing to send people broken products?! The table was also such a high price point compared to others on the market. We ended up getting one from a certain Swedish manufacturer which was half the price and much better quality. To make matters worse I have reviewed the product on their website over a month ago and for some reason they have not published this review for others to see. The price of the table has also gone up a further £100 since we purchased ours!!!

I would rate this company 0 star if I…

I would rate this company 0 star if I could! Do not order from this company. Placed my order 8 weeks ago with a delivery time of 4-6 weeks, have queried where my order is and getting no help or answers, no customer service whatsoever. Have tried to get a refund as they have stated they are unable to fulfill the order and have been told they are unable to issue refunds… DISGRACE of a company! I want this resolved with immediate effect!

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

I would have given them zero stars. Waited for three months for a bed and I was supposed to have it delivered this week but I was informed by the delivery company that the delivery has been cancelled.

Received this response today from their useless customer service:

We are not currently able to accept returns or cancel orders. Our customers are incredibly important to us, and we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. We hope to be able to start accepting returns/refunds/cancellations soon.

£1000 down the drain for me...such experiences have taken me to the conclusion that I won't be ordering stuff online in the future

Ordered a plant plot 6 months ago

Ordered a plant plot 6 months ago. Was informed it would be delivered within 4 weeks. Still I am having to email regarding the order. I requested a refund on 3 occasions and have been ignored to them be told a refund will be issued but never showed ups. Now back to being ignored. Would not advise anyone to shop here!

Worst experience ever and then still have £100 of my money!

Mixed experiences with MADE...

I've purchased a few items from MADE over the past year, and despite delivery timescales and reliability being a bit hit & miss, we've been really happy with the product quality. Have always managed to pick up what we wanted at sale prices, so value vs quality has always been good for what we've had (big items like bed / sofa). Frustratingly I've found myself caught in the current potential collapse of MADE, with money paid for items that have apparently been 'lost' by the courier. Thankfully not huge money, and customer support appear to be trying to help (they're no doubt inundated with angry customers at the moment so I don't envy them... they are only humans having to take the brunt of customer anger for the ones in charge above). It would be a shame to see MADE fully collapse, they really were producing some great quality design and providing something accessible yet a bit more high-end to challenge the IKEA generation of home furnishing! Fingers crossed they find someone to bail them out!

Do not place any orders with Made!

Do not place any orders with Made!! I placed a sofa order and was promised the item will be dispatched between 8-10 weeks. After hearing about the company having financial difficulties, I decided to ask for a refund- The customer service team replied back saying, I quote 'We are not currently able to accept returns or cancel orders. Our customers are incredibly important to us, and we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. We hope to be able to start accepting returns/refunds/cancellations soon'.

My order has not been dispatched so it is my right to ask for a refund, which Made has not been able to fulfil.
