Non-existing service
I bought a replacement battery for my Mac overpaying for the NuPower / OWC brands.
The performance of my battery was subpar, lasted 1.5 hours tops compared to expected 3-4 hours.
Any attempts to contact for the warranty exchange were ignored.
Terrible service, and overpriced battery was easily outperformed by a 25$ Chinese battery. Never again.

Ordered an SSD upgrade kit for my iMac at owcshop.eu (same as macupgrade.eu - a shop located in Belgium) on 2nd day of Easter (not a working day). Two days after I got the package in Denmark and everything was just perfect. I supplied my order with a question and got answer on that the day after. If more stars were available I would have given all of them.

These guys are TERRIBLE!!... Made a transaction online, received no order conformation or product, yet they still charged my credit card. I have since had NO reply to my emails or phone calls and have had to get my bank involved.

Be warned and don't use them.

Perfect. Placed my order sunday and recived the parcel the following thursday. Very good when you are ordering within the EU.

I live close to Leuven and someone recommended that I look to macupgrade.eu for my mac. Best service I ever had for my computer. Professional, respectful, honest, and ready to go beyond their ways to help. The price for the piece was the best European price I could find online, and because I am no tech person the owner even helped me in choosing the right piece and in installing it, patiently and respectfully answering my thousands of questions. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who wants to repair, upgrade, or attempt to save their computer! They will certainly be my first choice for pieces in the future, even if I move far from Leuven.

Order arrived the next day from Belgium, I live in the Netherlands. Price and transport costs were very reasonable.

I bought a very expensive item from Macupfgrade.eu with a three year warranty, the reason for buying it with the EU was because I didnt want to import directly from OWC. Unfortunatly the item failed, Macupdate.eu wouldnt respond to my emails.

As a last ressort I contacted OWC to see it they could help get a responce of Belgium, OWC said all they could do was replace the faulty item.

I returned the item to OWC at great expence due to international shipping & insurance.

OWC sent a replacement, unfortunatly as I didnt buy the original item direct from OWC I was faced with a VAT bill for the full cost of the replacement.

I contacted UK cusyoms & explained the situation, but to them this is a new transaction & I am liable (again) for the tax.

At the moment i have refused to pay the tax & the item has been returned to OWC. So I am out of pocket for everything, so much for a three year warranty.

You have been warned.

In case you're living in Europe and you're looking for OWC products, this is the place to shop. There are not many shopping websites that sell OWC products in Europe.

The prices are quite good: of course the american OWC website is cheaper but in this case you've to consider the shipping and importing duties.

The delivery timing is good. Recommended.

Excellent customer service, helpful and very prompt reply. The ordered product arrived within the promised timeframe. The firm is highly recommended.
