Second time at the Sundial House, once again was perfect, everything as described, great communication with the host. The house it’s so beautiful, with the perfect location. Definitely coming back soon.

Have stayed here a couple of times. Very nice holiday flat. Spacious, clean, well equipped. Lovely setting.
Would stay again.

Lovely accommodation on a stunning area. Accommodation very tidy, stylish and a comfortable place to stay. Everything at hand for local amenities and places to visit. On a couple of evenings on our stay a local owl was hooting away, very atmospheric. Recommend to any one to stay at the Westgate and we would stay again on the future.

Really lovely 3-night stay in Teal House and Lavender Cottage. We were a group of 11 and it all worked out very well. The houses were well-equipped and a fabulous location. Mark was a great host and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We wouldn’t hesitate to book up again!

Everything was easy from start to finish; from booking, to communication with our hosts to check out, our stay at Sundial House in Lyme Regis was absolutely wonderful.

A perfect cottage for a couple & a hound. The secure, enclosed garden was spot on for the dog & a wonderful sun trap.

The parking permit for the car park only two hundred metres away was a great touch.

The kitchen was brilliantly stocked.

We stayed at Bellaire House in Charmouth - Middle floor last time, Garden Flat this time. Mark is a great host and the accommodation has everything you need from dishwasher tablets to jay cloth, towels, hairdryer even got Netflix for our nighttime movies in the large lounge. Beds were comfy and the flat nice and warm. The house is extremely quiet at night which is a bonus after a long day fossil hunting on the beach.

The Sundial house lived up to our expectations.
It had everything we needed.
The views were stunning and the house was very well equipped.
The host went above and beyond.
I would happily return.

The location of Sundial House is amazing.
The sound of the crashing waves is so therapeutic.
The living space is wonderful and bright.
The set up of bedrooms and bathrooms are unconventional, which wasn’t ideal for our group, but we made it work.
We were disappointed that the Aga and wood burning stoves were just for show, but the heating was excellent!
The communication with the agent, even over bank holidays was superb. Any queries we had were resolved straight away.
We had a lovely time here.

Sitting in the bay windows of the kitchen of this old house watching the light change over the sea and the world wander by was just magical. Super location and despite no parking at the house it was easy to drive along the parade and unload luggage though you do need to take into account the extra cost of parking if your party is using more than one car (free parking provided for one) The house is quirky but comfortable (you need to crouch a bit under the showers if you’re tall!) but comfortable beds and clean.
There are lots of steps to negotiate both in and outside the house so anyone physically challenge might struggle a bit.
Lyme Regis itself is lovely with lots to see and do and friendly locals…the hot chocolate at the ‘Kiosk’ cafe just below the house is definitely worth a try!
Overall we had a fabulous couple of days and were very sad to leave!

Wonderful stay in a superbly appointed house. Everything you could wish for in self catering accommodation with very comfortable beds. The house is right on the sea front so that you are on the beach within seconds of going out of the front door.

Great location, quiet and private with plenty of parking. The beds are nice and comfy and the place had everything we needed to have a great family break. Short drive to lots of different places along the coast.

We have stayed in the Westgate for 4 nights. It is impeccable. The spacious rooms to the luxurious living room and bathrooms with the lovely accessories and furniture. The kitchen is thoughtfully well stocked with kitchen utensils and cookery. The whole cottage is idyllic . Not to mention the verdant outdoor areas which has a picturesque scene. Thank you for all your arrangements , we appreciate it a lot.

Property as advertised, clean, good facilities and location. Would consider going again.

On a separate issue the seagulls on the sea front are an absolute menace to anyone eating, we saw lots of screaming, tears and even blood on a small child having been attacked for food, local council act Now!

The location of the house is perfect with amazing views. The layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms is very strange with 2 bedrooms having to share a Jack and Jill bathroom, and 2 bedrooms having to go down 2 flights of stairs! The furnishings and decor could all do with a refurb to make it more comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay but the price was high for the quality of the house

The property was beautiful, well equipped and maintained. Plenty of hot water when you have 7 people staying. Totally private. Spacious grounds, parking on site was excellent. Safe for children.
