I wrote two different reports about LV at different times. However, when they replied, twice, but by different people, they simply sent ver batim the same answer both times. That just tells me that they don't think about individual complaints. They simply give, say answer number 10 on this one, and then maybe answer number 13 for this one. They do nothing which takes the clients complaints and answers them individually. As I have already stated, there has been an unbelievable increase in my insurance for my two cars. I am allowing for changing one of my cars, and, even taking that into account, there has been no justification in the extortionately high level of the increase. My wife and I are OAPs and cannot afford increases of that magnitude, especially when LV are not giving any real reason for the level of the increase.
It has left me thinking that they do not want drivers at the age we are at now. 79. Even allowing for over 20 years of no claims, no crashes, no fines for driving offences and only 5,000 miles per year each. I would say that we are a much safer bet than half the youngsters that fly past us on motorways everyday with their music on full blast whilst they text on their mobile phones. In fact, I have noticed, more and more, that the youngsters that are speeding past us in the outside lane, are generally driving small cars which would cause them serious injuries in a crash. But they don't care, they just fly past you time after time. I am now leaving you to read all this as I surf the net for better prices.
Competitive pricing, but clumsy, glitchy website. Took my money for a change but then the website failed, on more than one occasion. Had to call, got a helpful person to assist me. If you want to rely on a decent website then best to avoid.

Online application process was very easy and the premium was very competitive with my existing insurer's renewal. I'd insured with AA for over 30 years but every year their renewal quote would be high but when I phoned to question it they would reduce it. This year I tried LV and their quote was 40% lower for the same cover.

Was advised two years ago from the vet that my dogs lump was too small and didn’t need treatment but if it changed we should come back. I was with LV for 1.5 years and didn’t make a claim. Now his lump has changed significantly LV wont pay out as they class it as pre existing, even though we never had treatment for it and it’s a completely different lump to what it was 2 years back. Felt let down by the vets and LV.

Had a 'not my fault' accident and LV were superb. Spoke to an English person (so I could understand them easily !) and all was sorted out quickly and efficiently with an excellent local repair garage being assigned the work.
Everything went smoothly.

What the hells going on with their website? I tried to buy my insurance all afternoon knowing it was about to expire, it could not take any payment. I rang up the next day and the only person who could take my call had no sales experience. He didn't seem to think it was important to report the problems I had had with the website even though I was tearing my hair out!

LV pet insurance. Do not insure your pet. For years I’ve been with LV. we did have issues with our dog and LV paid £5000 we paid £9000. Insurance went up to £53 per month then £85 per month then recently £123 per month I’ve cancelled and gone with Nape £33 monthly.
When I called to cancel they couldn’t give a toss. Absolutely disgusting. Never ever. They are a con company.

I could give 5 stars purely for the price of the car insurance but I’ve had to reduce it to 3 because although I had a text telling me the paperwork is on its way that’s all I’ve had. No email confirming the purchase of the policy or anything, and there’s no App, unlike my last insurer.
