This was first time eating this product, god it's awful and tasteless I really don't understand the hype. Would score lower but not possible.

There is no taste to lurpak anymore it…
There is no taste to lurpak anymore it is sloppy straight from the fridge . Definitely wont be buying anymore . The price hike does not justify the lack of taste if I could have scored zero I would
I've been buying proper butter till…
I've been buying proper butter till recently I've only been able to go to a little local shop that only sells these unhealthy watery spreadable products.
I got some Lurpak spreadable, made some toast, took one bite and threw the lot in the bin. Veg oils and water, o m g!
If you like wet toast you might enjoy this garbage. Never again!
Honestly
Honestly, Lurpak used to be amazing. But now it's seriously gone downhill, it doesn't taste like it used to. It's barely got any flavour.... That's one reson i've gone for the cheaper alternative.Dan pack.It tastes just like lurpack. And it's cheaper

The downfall of Lurpak
What the hell have lurpak done to their butter? It used to be great, now they have added a massive amount of rapeseed oil and it’s like trying to butter water, it doesn’t stay on the knife or spread properly. It’s garbage. After so many years I’m going to have to find another brand because this once great brand is awful
The taste of Lurpak is great
The taste of Lurpak is great - but I'm leaving a one star review purely based on the product size and not the price. I've kept on running out of butter which I didn't used to do because the product size has been reduced from 250g to 200g. Larger packs are TOO big but 200g is just pointless. I've changed my brand to Castle Dairies butter purely because it was 250g. To my surprise it's actually a nicer taste so won't be going back. I'm going to leave a similar review for two other brands I rated highly but, they too have reduced the packet size to 200g. The only reason I've taken time out to make this review is to see if they listen to their consumers - people just want a normal size block of butter.
Profiteering pricing
Is it Lurpac or Sainsbury’s - how do they justify the huge price hike in the last few months for the large packs?
And they clearly don’t care as I’ve not seen responses to posts here.
Used to be good

Brown foreign object in butter
Bought unslated butter and found a foreign object in one of the butters. Top notch QC
Absolute Disgrace
£8.25 for 750g! An absolute disgrace. I have been purchasing Lurpak for as long as I can remember but it now stops. No justification for such a massive increase in price apart from GREED!!!
Do Lurpak think we are Stupid
Do Lurpack think we are Stupid?
they package the butter in a smaller 200gm pack, and its on the shelves alongside all other butters weighing at 250gm packs.....
But Lurpack is priced at £2.50 while 250gm tescos own butter is £2.00-
So people think they will pay the extra 50p for a 'good butter' instead of supermarkets own brand.... but what they havent realised is its NOT a bargain price, there is 50gm less butter in the pack.
Another case of shrinkflation, but the shrinkage happens AND the price increase .... choose one or the other , not both. you're being greedy.
Lurpack and all big brands have profiteered these last 5 years since Covid.... does Lurpack think its the only company that sells butter?
Over priced poor product
I haven't bought Lurpak for a long time. We all used to like it but it seems the recipe has changed, it's way over priced and we all agreed there are far better cheaper products on the market. Not happy about buying Arlo products either. So we will not be buying Lurpak again
GREED
After putting their greed before the people lurpak are finished, anything to do with bill gates needs to be avoided, he is one vile evil monster!
It's poison now
They are putting arla in their butter…
They are putting arla in their butter forcing the poor cows to eat it bill gates idea I’ve stopped eating it and my family 5 packs a week won’t make much difference but I’m also telling my local shops and everyone I know .
CRIMINAL
cake making completly wrecked by pack of 200 not 250. wehave been buying this for years.!never again?!!!!!!
Sneaky and deceptive
Sneaky and deceptive. I don’t see the point of trying to pull the wool over the customers’ eyes by reducing the size of the Lurpak butter packs. We all know what you’ve done and it’s cynical. I hope it backfires and you lose a lot of money. Why weren’t you honest and just increased the price of the original sized pack? The quality is good enough to justify a price rise and we all know that due to inflation food prices have risen greatly so stop treating your customers like imbeciles.
By the way , for people who bake your new rubbish small size has thrown a spanner in the works too. Slow hand clap.
Deceitful
Deceitful packaging by reducing butter from 250g to 200g. Lurpack is a superior product in my view but I'll never buy it again after this appalling attempt to fool their customers.
