Easy to create my calendars. The results are great. Once the notification arrives that the calendar has been prepared, postage is very quick.

By far the easiest and lowest risk way to publish a book. For anyone wanting to become a published author but doesn't want the hassle and cost that comes with going with a big company then I would highly suggest publishing through Lulu

I have used Lulu to produce several revisions of two books, and the experience has been very good. The publishing process allows an author to upload, revise, proof, and refine a book until the printed result is right. The online preview tools are useful, and the finished books have matched my expectations very closely. Print quality, binding, and especially the glossy cover reproduction have been excellent. Lulu has made it practical for an independent author to turn a Word manuscript into a professional-looking physical book without having to order hundreds of copies. I particularly appreciate being able to order individual proofs while continuing to improve the work.

Over the years I have used Lulu for nine different books. For all of them I had a very limited number of copies produced. I received all in perfect condition and exactly as I expected them to be. I have recommended Lulu to others wishing to publish books.

It's been a pleasure working with Lulu. Very straightforward, user-friendly, and efficient. I've even created a tutorial on my YouTube page for the self-publishing authors, and personally helped two other authors getting started on Lulu. They love it too!

My first experience wasn't good. The proof book showed errors that weren't visible online. Some of the interior text was faint eg. Chapters and although the cover looked correct online, the proof showed unacceptable white spaces around the edges of the book. The printing machine wasn't properly aligned. I asked for refunds for two books and my request was declined. The final outcome after I made changes to the interior was spot on and although I made no changes to the cover, someone on your side made the correct adjustment. The third proof was acceptable so it was approved and is now on sale in the Lulu Bookstore.

I was tasked with writing a biography for my Dad. Now in his 80s and facing failing health, he’s been eager for me to finish, because his deepest wish was to sign copies and gift them to family and friends while he still can.
I ordered a prototype on July 27, along with 30 copies, knowing there might be changes to make, but time was of the essence, and the expected ship date was the week of August 11.
Needless to say, the 30 copies arrived at his home on July 31. That was the first miracle. The second miracle was that no changes were needed for global distribution.
We are beyond excited that he’s able to sign these 30 copies while he still has the strength. We even took photos and a video to capture the moment. I am truly grateful for Lulu and the service they provide; the books are absolutely outstanding in quality.
As an Indigenous author, I write with a message for the next seven generations, and this book is a treasure. Thank you, Lulu.

It was an easy and enjoyable process

I absolutely love the look and feel of my Menopause Art coloring book covers. The pages look great too but I really wish they offered 80 lb uncoated card stock for our more serious artists wanting to work in colored pens and markers. Otherwise great prices and turnaround time, and great communication.

While mainly only using the site to print personal copies of my stories for myself and some family members. It is a life long dream having physical actual fully produced books from my own imagination on my shelf. Lulu makes it extremely simple, fun and affordable each time I finish another project. I am so grateful for it.

I've attempted to publish two books with lulu. The first one went smoothly and was successfully published, but after about 4 years, lulu refuses to pay me my $55.99 balance, i gave a second payment account, and every time I have contacted support i've been met with obstacles, at one point being told that the book was not fit for global distribution (which was totally fine before) and that was the problem, attempting to change anything has led to me being forced to order a second proof copy (which i do not need), and still not a single payment
