LR Direct Reviews 

After being let down again by Britcar, I decided to try LR Direct. Firstly I asked a question to see if they could obtain the stock I needed from Land Rover before I placed my order. I got through to a Gentleman called Cameron, he checked and confirmed they could get the parts (Britcar still said they were on back order) and the order was placed.

The communication beteeen us was fantastic and the parts arrived as promised.

The recent bad reviews on this site are in my opinion very unfair. We are all trying to adapt to a new way of working with many people off work and this company are still trying to fullfill the orders in a timely manner.

I never leave reviews, but the service I received as a new customer in the middle of a pandemic was second to none.

I've used LR Direct for many years. This year I tried to return a part that I'd incorrectly ordered. Firstly the Returns link on their web page doesn't work. Secondly I tried calling, emailing and then writing a letter. Only when I complained in another email expressing my disappointment did I get a reply, with an apology, asking me to resend my original email. This I did and a week later haven't heard a peep. Very disappointing. Very poor customer focus so I will move to another provider.

LR Direct contacted me after posting this and rectified the situation....for which I'm grateful.

Living in Germany and ordering pipes from the UK that are of a complex form (many bends) and over a metre long was a bit of a risk.
However, no problems extremely well packed.
Delivery took longer than normal but with with çovid 19 acceptable.

Excellent service, parts & shipping.

Follow up to my previous problems contacting this company.
Advised of despatch via Parcelforce, but address was wrong, the first line was missing.
Caused problems with carrier, who’s system can’t seem to deal with this
Still waiting for delivery, can’t see that happening until next week now
That’ll make over three weeks
How can this be allowed to happen?

Order taken, money taken. Order confirmed stating contact will be within 24 hours. No contact from this company , order status is set to processed but no delivery yet. Tried ringing no answer, tried emailing - no answer. If closed due to the current situation then fine but please let your customers know about their delivery status.

Really great service and quick delivery! I hope that this outstanding service will not be influenced by the “BREXIT”. That would be a great pitty.

I have been exclusively LRdirect for the last 4 months and have had over 6 separate orders, all have been trouble free and always promptly shipped.
As I live in Germany I can order on the weekend and they are here by Friday at the latest, this includes genuine LR sourced parts.
The clarity of the website and in Euros, plus the selection of suppliers make the process easier.
Keep up the good work.

Managed to source OEM parts at a fraction of the cost that I would have paid locally.Given the complexity of importing in Guatemala a prepaid option of paying duty makes all the difference in the world. Thanks.

Ordered some brake pads on next day delivery as needed them ASAP to fit to my car. They were delivered promptly however the box had previously been opened and retaped shut. When i opened the box i noticed that the pads only contained the bolts and no fixing clips. All other pads i have bought previously have had both bolts and clips in the box. I emailed LR Direct who did respond to say they would be back in touch in the new hour. No response, so i had to chase again to recieve a statement that these pads do not contain clips. These need to be ordered seperately, the offered the part number and then said by the way we dont have any, sorry i can’t help. Really usefull that i was now 4 days on and still couldnt do the job. Now have to send them back at my own cost as i had to buy another set of pads locally with all the parts in the box i needed tocomplete the job. Although it does not state that the clips are not included, LR now want me to pay the return postage to send back. I wouldnt order anything again from them.

After contacting RR AUSTALIA not one part did they have in stock to fix EGR system for our RR.
meaning they where going to have to order from the UK.

So I decided to do it myself through LR DIRRECT.

Fortunately for me the gentleman I dealt with Wayne Halford after having troubles with part numbers advised me to download part catalogue.

After a number of emails 4 or 5 he assisted me with the purchase live over the phone and help me navigate through the system right to the point of confirmation of purchase over 1800 dollars worth.
I couldn’t be happy with Wayne his help & his patience with me.

I bought two Range Rover Sport Headlamps from LRDirect and had them shipped to the US. The price was good and the ordering was efficient. I was impressed with the speed with which they arrived. Remarkably fast DHL shipping. They were well packed but one arrived with a problem. What distinguishes a good company from a poor one is the speed, efficiency and helpfulness in how they deal with problems. The LR folks were wonderful. They arranged for a return pickup quickly at my address for shipping all the way back to the UK, with minimal impact on me. They quickly turned that return around and sent a replacement, which was also well-packed and delivered remarkably quickly by DHL -- and was trouble-free. All my interactions with them over the replacements and the shipping issues were great. Helpful good people to deal with. I am extremely positive about LRDirect and would strongly recommend them to anybody for LR parts that are needed at good prices with quick delivery.

Good service and rapid dispatch although the choice of DHL (for international shipping, at least) leaves something to be desired: DHL is incapable of delivering according to instructions and regularly says there is nobody home when this is not true

The goods came, but no letter and no question customer support did not answer. The phone call is also not answered. I do not want to order in such a store anymore.

I like because I can trust

I have them ship things to me in Vancouver Canada. I have the parts book for my Defender which I recommend that you get. Always extremely fast and convenient. Lots of options on which manufacturer you want including LR if you don't mind pay for the name. For some reason the DHL rates are always very low. Not sure if they have some sort of deal with them. All transactions are in CAD funds and I pre pay duty. There is no where else I would consider getting my parts from because of this.
