WARNING to Others — Unprofessional and Misleading Service
I pre-paid Faren for a professional résumé rewrite, but what I received was nowhere near a professional standard. The document was full of typing, grammatical, and formatting errors — the kind of mistakes any genuine résumé writer would have caught before sending to a client.
When I raised these issues, instead of correcting them, Faren asked me to point out the errors myself — confirming that the service was not professionally written or reviewed. Several recruiters I’ve shown the résumé to were equally surprised by the poor quality and lack of attention to detail.
Despite giving her every opportunity to make it right, she refused to issue a refund for work that was clearly substandard. What makes this worse is that the original contact came through someone posing as a recruiter from Robert Half, who appears to have been working in coordination with Faren.
In my opinion, this experience was misleading, unethical, and deeply disappointing. I strongly urge others to avoid engaging her services — save your money and go to a verified, reputable résumé writer instead.
