Not worth it

Not worth it, food is no better than a greasy spoon cafe, coffee is bitter and lounge was Packed. Not luxury. And we had to wait. We wish we had gone to Pret A Manger for a decent coffee. Waste of money. Don’t bother unless you want a shower. Heathrow's Terminal 2 premium lounge. Even the toilets aren’t as good as the ones in the airport. No automatic flush with a hand swipe in the lounge.

Avoid using this card.

Avoid using this card, I had two complimentary lounge visits to be told they have now expired and can’t be extended although every lounge every where was closed during lockdown so unable to use for most of this year anyway due to this awful virus. When I queried this I was told to contact American Express who give this offer to card holders but they haven’t a clue and ask you to go back and discuss with the lounge club basically going round and round and no further forward. Useless advise and not helpful at all.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. Got LoungeClub membership through Amex and have tried to use it twice, both times in Amsterdam Schipol. On both occasions I was told I'd have to come back several hours later because the lounge was full - LoungeClub does say in their guide that spaces are limited at Amsterdam, but in that case they should sign an agreement with a different lounge. In both cases I did eventually get in, but only for a short time before I then had to leave again for my flight. The service is utterly useless as a perk and the main reason I won't be renewing my Amex membership next year. I did think about getting Priority Pass (owned by the same company) as a cheaper alternative to annual Amex membership, but given my experience in this first year it just seems like a waste of money to pay for lounge access through any of this company's brands. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Not worth your money and the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!

I got this "benefit" through my Amex gold card but it is most definitely not a benefit! The lounges included are below acceptable standards, the one in JFK was actually vile - absolutely filthy, food was inedible, self service to drinks - even alcohol with no one checking people's ages?!
I was charged without being told I would be and the staff at lounge club denied all responsibility. They said it was my problem that I had been charged without authorising payment and said the state of the lounges was not their problem (despite their motto being enjoy a better airport experience and classing them as "partners"). The customer service representative was most unhelpful and downright rude. They do anything but make you feel like this is a luxury service!!!
Do not waste your money on this! It's not worth it!!
