We visited this dealership on 18 March…
We visited this dealership on 18 March 2026 and found a car we liked. During the test drive, we noticed a few minor interior parts were missing and reported this to the manager. He initially refused to fix these issues but asked us to pay a deposit so he could proceed with the MOT and arrange handover of the car.
From 18 to 23 March, we repeatedly contacted the seller to check the MOT status. We were told that the MOT was still in progress and would be completed by 25 March. However, on the same day, I checked the MOT status on the official government website, which showed that the car had already passed its MOT on 18 March.
When we questioned this, the seller explained that after the MOT, they carried out additional internal checks and decided to fix a few more things, which is why the handover was delayed.
Following this, we asked the seller to provide receipts and invoices for any work carried out after the MOT, but they refused to provide any documentation.
Given the missing interior parts identified during the test drive and the lack of transparency regarding any subsequent work, we are concerned that parts may have been removed after the MOT was completed.
Due to these concerns, we decided to cancel the purchase. Throughout the entire process, the staff member we dealt with was extremely rude and unaccommodating, making the overall experience very disappointing. Based on our experience, we have serious concerns about the professionalism of the dealership and the way this transaction was handled.
